---|---|---|---|
Week 6 | 3-3 | 7 | Mombasa doing Mombasa things this week reminding everyone they aren’t done just yet. They play Mecca this weekend in watch should be a fun game to watch. Mombasa will need to get the job done if they have any hopes of repeating as champs. Don’t miss this one! |
Week 5 | 2-3 | 8 | Very disappointed in this team as of late. Now 2-3 after being such an intimidating team to start the season. Part of me believes this is a Lebron James thing where they’re not really concerned with the regular season and are just getting themselves ready for the playoffs. I don’t know anymore. They have a chance to finish at .500 with a win over Sana’a and position themselves well in playoff seedings so they don’t have too tough a matchup come week 1 of the playoffs. |
Week 4 | 2-2 | 3 | Missing: Have you seen me? Reward- Meal at Kabab Paradise. Didn’t play this week and gave up what would’ve been an easy win. Hopefully they show up next week. |
Week 3 | 2-1 | 2 | Trouble in the kingdom. Mombasa is dethroned of their number one ranking for the first time this season by a familiar foe. Their offense was clicking in the first half but a late run in the second half by Amman closed out the game and pushed Mombasa to their first loss since early last season. No reason to panic though with the remainder of their schedule looking relatively light. Next game they take on a struggling Suba squad, advantage Mombasa? |
Week 2 | 2-0 | 1 | Greatness. Will always be capable of great things with their core squad. That is all. |
Week 1 | 1-0 | 1 | Greatness. Will always be capable of great things with their core squad. That is all. |
Preseason | 0-0 | 1 | If only someone predicted that this team would go on a revenge tour and make it back to the championship game… Mombasa returns for yet another season as Weiss looks to follow in Robert Horry’s footsteps and add number 7 to his collection. In all seriousness, this team has more or less dominated the division for the past 4-5 years. They’re looking to make it back to back championships this year and with the squad they have I don’t see why they can’t. Will anyone step up to the plate and try to stop them…….. |
