Amman

LAST WK: 1

They locked up the 1 seed and essentially have a bye week as they play Kashgar for the second week in a row after blowing them out last week, If you’re still around the PAL at 12pm spare yourself the time and go watch Mecca vs Mombasa on Court B, a marquee matchup with the winner going on to play Amman in the quarter finals.

Lahore
Lahore

LAST WK: 2

It’s time to face the music, they have proved week after week they are the best offensive team in the league only scoring less than 60 once and even then scoring 58. This is a dangerous team to verse in the playoffs and if defenses don’t figure out a way to stop them I don’t see why they shouldn’t be playing for a title in November. In the meantime they shouldn’t have any trouble with Sarajevo this weekend after blowing them out in their last meeting.

Dhaka

LAST WK: 3

Great way to end the regular season with a big win over Cordoba. They play Palermo in their first round matchup and if history repeats itself they will also be booking their ticket to the quarter finals come Saturday.

4
Beirut
Beirut

LAST WK: 5

Only four players and still beat up on Suba this last week. Beirut is the real deal and they are the second best defensive team in the league. They take on a Riyadh squad that has not been able to find anyway to win, spare the one outlier. Beirut should win this one handly.

5
Granada
Granada

LAST WK: 4

Tough loss to Lahore to end the season. They take on Sana’a in the first round who has played in some close games and some blowout games. If Granada plays to its’ full potential they should be able to take this one.

Cordoba

LAST WK: 6

Not the best way to end the regular season falling big to Dhaka but the good news is they still managed a winning record and will take on Suba in the first round. They should be able to win this one and book a date with Beirut in the quarter finals. Anything short of a win on Saturday will be a complete shock.

7
Mombasa
Mombasa

LAST WK: 8

Mombasa doing Mombasa things this week reminding everyone they aren’t done just yet. They play Mecca this weekend in watch should be a fun game to watch. Mombasa will need to get the job done if they have any hopes of repeating as champs. Don’t miss this one!

Mecca

LAST WK: 9

Impressive win against Istanbul this week, much needed heading into the playoffs. Anas Zubi seems to be heating up at the right time. They probably have the toughest week 1 matchup though as they take on Mombasa for a spot in the quarterfinals against Amman. You don’t want to miss this one!

9
Istanbul

LAST WK: 7

Without Ammar in the lineup Istanbul collapsed in their last regular season game. They’ll need to play with the same team ball mentality that has worked efficiently in their wins this season. If they can play at the quick pace we have seen them capable of playing at before they should be able to take this one. Keep an eye on this matchup against Alexandria though, should be one of the interesting games this weekend.

Alexandria

LAST WK: 10

They win their last regular season win and finish at .500 on the season. They won 3 of their last 4 and it looks like they have a flow to their game going. Their first round matchup is a date with Istanbul, a team that’s had it’s own struggles throughout the season. This is one of those interesting matchups that can really go either way. Alexandria can get hot quickly though, and they will need to if they plan on beating Istanbul and that wonderful team chemistry they’ve exhibited all season long.

Sana'a

LAST WK: 11

Not a great game versus Mombasa to end the season. They play Granada this weekend and will need to step up their defense if they want to pull off the upset.

12
Palermo
Palermo

LAST WK: 12

Forced to forfeit again because they didn’t have enough players. Dhaka awaits them in the first round, hopefully next season they have better commitment and come back stronger!

13
Suba
Suba

LAST WK: 13

Lost against Beirut who played with four players. They take on a hungry Cordoba squad this weekend. Not loving their chances in this one either.

14
Riyadh

LAST WK: 14

Tough loss to Alexandria to end the season. Don’t like their chances versus Beirut. Very talented team though, some real potential just missing a piece or two. A little more experience and talent and this team can go far next season.

15
Sarajevo

LAST WK: 15

Got their first win of the season because the other team forfeited. Lots of talent on this team though but Lahore will be too much to handle this weekend.

16
Kashgar

LAST WK: 16

Until next season; no hate towards this team, they are a bunch of stand up guys. They just need to find more talent to surround themselves with so they can be able to compete, good luck, hope to see you better and improved in the spring!
