If only someone predicted that this team would go on a revenge tour and make it back to the championship game… Mombasa returns for yet another season as Weiss looks to follow in Robert Horry’s footsteps and add number 7 to his collection. In all seriousness, this team has more or less dominated the division for the past 4-5 years. They’re looking to make it back to back championships this year and with the squad they have I don’t see why they can’t. Will anyone step up to the plate and try to stop them……..

A bunch of young studs turned plenty of heads last season when they made it all the way to the championship game before falling short to Mombasa. They lost some players but added some size and defense to a team that didn’t have much size a season ago. Maybe they added a piece or two that can help them achieve similar success this season, I’m sure they’ll be playing with a chip on their shoulder still a little sour about that last game.

Pretty much the same squad from last season for the most part. This team went undefeated in the regular season and were punishing opponents left and right with their size and scoring before falling short in the semi finals. Are they hungry enough to possibly go all the way this time? We’ll find out in a month or two.

An offensive powerhouse for the past few seasons, they return with the same core of players to try to make up for an early playoff exit after also finishing the regular season undefeated. Anas Zubi has shown no mercy to his opponents in the past and will look to continue his offensive dominance come week 1. How many days did we say are left??

A team that always has the potential to go all the way comes back after a disappointing playoff run last season. Jon Mingo returns to try to lead his team as he always does back to the promise land. With the same core of players they can do some damage this season. They start their season off against the defending champs, an opportune time to make a statement. Can week 1 come already??

The Golden State Warriors tried to revolutionize the NBA by bringing in the concept of ‘small ball’. Can it win you games? Yes. Can it win you a championship? Results may vary. This team has added a small handful of guards to their line-up that are proven scorers and have left their prints on the floor for their respected teams without really focusing too much on size. Not saying I have anything against this just saying I’m excited to see just how it will work out. My prediction, I think if they do pull it off, it could be very scary.

They had a solid team last season although only had 5 players showing up most of the time which could have been the reason for some of their losses. They return with 9 registered players, if they can all show up and help what was an already solid team this team is sure to make some noise. They didn’t show up to their playoff game last season so we didn’t get a chance to see how far their original squad would be able to go but if they can play close to what they did last season with the added help I’m predicting big things.

Any team with Anwar and Waqas on board immediately brings concern to opponents. Add on Bilal Ghous and your looking at a solid trio. They can hurt a team by running up the score with their offensive prowess but will it be enough to help them finally break through and go all the way? As the common repetitive answer might say we’ll have to wait till week 1 for more in depth analysis.

Had a great regular season last season before falling short in the playoffs. They definitely showed some improvement and have added some new pieces that may be able to help them go even further this time around. Not the easiest schedule but it will definitely help them win or lose gain some needed experience as the season runs its course. Don’t sleep on them but again week 1 will tell us more of what we need to know.

Loved this team a season ago, loved them before they went on a little hiatus seasons ago, and love them now. These guys can really go after the ball, if you’re looking for a gritty team that can hurt you on defense and score efficiently on offense look no further than Ammar Saymeh and Co. How will they fare this time around is a question that I cannot answer until I’ve seen just how rusty they’ve gotten since we’ve last seen them.

Another by product of the Mombasa dynasty Rich Kim decides to branch off on his own and try to win a championship with a new team. A lot of new players so I can’t really say I know what to expect. If any of them are similar in talent to Rich this team should have no trouble winning games. Week 1 here we come.

“I’m coming home”, the three word text Mohammad Masri sent to the players tribune this offseason as he decided to return to make a return to his home city after enjoying much success under the Mombasa dynasty. This team has a bunch of new players so not really much to base them off of though they do have some proven scorers like Mahdi and Jahanzaib who have been on a hiatus from the league and are making a return this summer. We’ll see what the new guys can bring to the team come week 1.

Not the best season for this young group of guys last season but they did show some promise. The addition of AbdulKareem might help answer some questions for them as they look to make a better impression this time around.

Some new heads, some familiar faces. Too early to tell exactly what this team can bring to the table and for that reason alone I cannot make a fair judgment. I’ve always been a fan of Saad’s game though and if he can help by bringing his decorated experience to this team, opponents beware.

More or less the same squad from last season, they had a decent regular season but struggled defensively finishing close to last in points allowed per game. If they’ve been working this offseason though and have upped up their game then I stand corrected. But until we see what they’re capable of this time around, this is where they stand.

There wasn’t much love pointed towards this team last season. To say they didn’t have issues both offensively and defensively is an understatement considering they finished near the bottom in points allowed and scored per game. It seems like they’ve added new pieces to their squad; hopefully they can help this team address their problems and get them into the winning column.
