New Jersey (North): Sarajevo (D2)
Power Ranking By Week | |||
WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
---|---|---|---|
Week 6 | 1-5 | 15 | Got their first win of the season because the other team forfeited. Lots of talent on this team though but Lahore will be too much to handle this weekend. |
Week 5 | 0-5 | 15 | Went down early to start the game and were never able to dig themselves out. Saad finished with a nice 23 points but they are yet fill in anything on the left side of the column. Next week they have a chance to finally get a win against a struggling Palermo squad. They should be able to get it done if their offense can just put up similar numbers next week. |
Week 4 | 0-4 | 15 | No Brett this week but still not an excuse to give up 77 points. Going to need to bring it on offense when they take on Granada next week. Should be interesting. |
Week 3 | 0-3 | 13 | For some reason this team remains winless. Brett Bially finished with an insane game of 31 & 16. Their opponents thus far are 8-1 so we can cut them some slack. If they play the way they’ve been playing I’m almost positive they’ll get their first win next game when they take on a winless Riyadh squad. |
Week 2 | 0-2 | 14 | Had an impressive first half against Dhaka but then fell apart in the second and got blown out. Next week the competition doesn’t get any easier against a 2-0 Cordoba squad. From the numbers I’ve seen so far the odds are against them, but if they can play like they played in the first half against Dhaka they might have a chance. |
Week 1 | 0-1 | 14 | Brett led the way with 22 but not a good shooting performance from the field whatsoever. Albeit they did play a tough Lahore squad but their defense should have at least made up a little for their poor offensive performance. Next week they take on a Dhaka squad that’s known to punish it’s opponents on the glass and with their scoring, a new defensive mentality is a must if they have any chances of contesting in this one. |
Preseason | 0-0 | 14 | Some new heads, some familiar faces. Too early to tell exactly what this team can bring to the table and for that reason alone I cannot make a fair judgment. I’ve always been a fan of Saad’s game though and if he can help by bringing his decorated experience to this team, opponents beware. |
