Damascus Vs. Cairo: Cairo is one of the tougher defensive teams in this league and with offensive duo Isaiah playing SG alongside PG Champ they have what it takes to beat any team in this league. Damascus always comes to play. Expect this to be a close one. Cordoba Vs. Medina: Cordoba has not been able to hit a stride lately even with newly acquired Hasham Sohail. Medina will be looking for a Dub after coming off a bitter 1 pt loss to Baghdad led by FA/Khurams defensive prowess and Ardell's deadly offense/defense combo. If Cordoba stands a chance, the need to clean up boards on both ends and hope their 3 Ball is dropping. Mecca Vs. Istanbul: Battle of the Goliaths. With Istanbul sporting 2 of the best rebounder's, and arguably the best Bigs in the league, will Mecca's size even matter ? Istanbul's cast needs to step up on the scoring end, they need all the second chance points they can get. I wouldn't sleep on Mecca, who will check AFAY/MOOSE. Nonetheless I don't see Mecca scoring too much in the paint, their Jump shots need to be on, I do not see them getting too many offensive boards. Kabul Vs. Jersualem: Jerusalem has yet to bring the Willy P trifecta Diaz/Dunn/Kardos. With a majority of the offense weighing on Diaz/Waseem's shoulders, its tough. I don't see Jerusalem coming out of this one alive... unless Dunn/Kardos come and make it a game, or Jasim and Sharief shoot a little better. Kabul will come and do their thing. Islamabad Vs. Baghdad: Baghdad hit a nice stride with newly acquired talent Jason Smith. Can they continue vs Islamabad's ferociousness ? Islamabad did de-throne an undefeated team. This should be a good game. Fez Vs. Bukhara: Two very balanced rosters = Fun game. Fez's main flaw this season has been not being able to keep a sizable lead, and cutting it close late in the game. Bukhara is the opposite, they have been known to take advantage of come-backs this whole season, and have developed into a very resilient team no matter what the deficit was. Fez need to control game pace when they are up. Edited by user Wednesday, June 1, 2011 11:35:01 AM(UTC)

Let your game do the talking.
In the words of Rudy Fernandez, "I want to put points on your face." so . . Taste my rainbow :)
The forecast calls for rain.

Mecca Vs. Istanbul and Fez Vs. Bukhara are going to be basically must watch games to see if the top teams are going to shake out as we head into the second half of the season. |
