Week 7 7-0 1

The sole undefeated team in the league and consensus number 1. Week 1 was a nail-biting win, so it only makes sense, that week 7 is as well. We usually highlight Pat’s dominance, but this season was a collective effort. Chris Diaz returned to MB and balled out, and Scary Gary averaged 17 points per game and got a nickname in the process. I see them having no problems week 1 against Lahore. Recap + X-Factor: If Craig can return to form during this playoff stretch, it’s a rap. Even if he averages 10-12 points per game while the rest of the squad continues to play at their high level, you could write it in pen, Cordoba 2022 Winter Champs!

Week 6 6-0 1

No Pat? No problem! Scary Gary was in his bag again with 28, 5 and 5. Mr. Diaz added 27 of his own and they are looking at a perfect regular season. Baghdad is a top tier team but no one is hotter than Cordoba at this point in time.

Week 5 5-0 1

Thank you Granada, now we have another scorer to worry about on Cordoba. As if planning for Diaz, Pat and Craig wasn’t hard enough. Gary S looked like Scary Terry Rozier out there. 39 points on 58 % shooting and why not add 4 rebounds 2 assists, and 6 steals. Again thank you Granada.

Week 4 4-0 2

Did you guys really think Pat was ganna average 13-15 points per game? Dude was like “na, Imma walking bucket”. Jokes aside, him and Chris Diaz led the way and Cordoba looks like a well-oiled machine. Next two games are a walk in the park, but perhaps that week 7 matchup is a finals preview.

Week 3 3-0 2

If you had told me that in the beginning of the season that Pat would average 13 ppg on 10 shot attempts and Cordoba would be 3-0, I would have laughed in your face. Well, behold, Cordoba is 3-0 and man do they look good. Chris Diaz, Pat and Craig are all averaging at least 11 points per game and Muhammad O is basically at 10 ppg himself. This team is no longer dependent of Pat’s 30 pieces but when they come and trust they will come, expect this team to be clicking on all cylinders.

Week 2 2-0 3

Player comparison: Anthony Ozoria, is Andre Iguodala. Doesn’t look to shoot from the perimeter, gets to the basket, defends, and just an overall good glue guy to have. This team has an abundance of scorers and playmakers, and you can no longer double team Pat because of that. Diaz with 19, Craig with 16 and Pat had 18 of his own.

Week 1 1-0 8

Return of the Pat! Big second half from these guys to avoid starting 0-1 and a big double double from Muhammad O with 23 and 12. I wouldn’t expect these quiet games from Pat too often.
