No Pat? No problem! Scary Gary was in his bag again with 28, 5 and 5. Mr. Diaz added 27 of his own and they are looking at a perfect regular season. Baghdad is a top tier team but no one is hotter than Cordoba at this point in time.

In the NFL, teams get a bye week. In MB, teams get a bye month. Amman, Granada and whoever they play in the first round. Their second half total practically matched that of Amman’s final score. They had 3 guys score 30 plus. Joseph Capone is the clear run-away winner for Rookie of the Year and has quite the case for MVP. I don’t see them putting up 146 on Granada but I can def see another Ben Franklin.

Honestly Tex brags about them so much in the predictions that he practically does my job. Kazan is good.

Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy game from the Abbassis. Lahore was without Moayad and had absolutely no business of being in that ball game. Big O was kind enough to share the spotlight in Week 6 with little O who led all scorers with 17. I know game was so bad the leading scorer had 17. I hope Mustafa shows up this week because they have a big dance with Kazan. GAME OF THE WEEK.

Ali, Ali, Ali! 26 for Mr. Hassan and Yaqob, as they combined for more points than the entire Delhi team. They have the size, shooting and depth. I do not want anything to do with this bunch come playoff time.

Dropping them in the standings because they almost lost to 4 players. I don’t care that the Patel brothers weren’t in attendance. No more excuses. Get your full roster or you will go home in the playoffs. A + B – C = early playoff exit.

Ameer, Idris and Zain, the 3 headed monster behind the well-oiled machine that is Dhaka. Can this be the season, they return to playoff glory? Perhaps, but they have a Beirut squad coming off a bye week.

Sha-feek OR Tow- fic? Their games are as versatile as the spelling of their names. Tough loss against a strong Dhaka squad but don’t worry guys Lahore is up next. Shafic goes for 25, Towfeek adds 18 and heck why not Suqi hits 5 from the great beyond.

9
Medina

Two losses by 3 points each and 1 forfeit. These guys are essentially 6 points away from being a top 3-4. Tough matchup against a Tripoli team that can light it up. Revenge game for Sal, let’s hope Medina can gather the troops this time around.

Won via forfeit and to be honest, based on their play this season, the forfeit was a blessing. Not the same squad that we have grown accustomed to. Perhaps they can remind us how potent they can be this week.

Are they as good as their record? No. Are they a walk in the park? Ehhh, depends on the neighborhood. More likely than not, they will finish with a 4-3 record, and somewhere between the 8th-11th seed. I can see them winning a first round matchup.

12
Islamabad

Respect to them for almost pulling off the upset with 4 players. I mean all Baghdad had to do was double Shah Khan. Great game from Aadil with 24 points on 10-14 shooting from the field. Aside from getting thrown out of the game against Kazan, Islamabad has been respectable all season. I see them running all over Jakarta if they have their full squad.

No Moayad so you knew they were down 22 points from the start. What looked like such a promising roster, resulted in being the same old, same old. They need some shuffling and another consistent scorer.

Omar Singer is doing everything he can man. Hell of a season from the MB vet. I see a max contract in his future.

Was that an Ed sighting??? Commish came back and almost led his team to victory. 7-point lead going into half time means nothing when you get outscored by 17 in the second half. It’s a shame to see so much talent go to waste.

If Bukhara and Kazan is Game of the Week, than Suba and Amman are Game of the WEAK! Get it? No? Seriously? I’ll give you a second. Got it? Cool ?

Please refer to above…… But how the hell do you give up 146 points in 40 minutes of basketball?!?!!?!?!?!!?! I mean s/o to Omar Hussein for having a career year but it seems like defense was none existent in this game.

Y’all been eliminated since that first half performance against Bukhara, carry on.
