fez over alexandria - if fez fields a full team, it will be nice to watch the big boys battle it out .. but i think itll come down to alexandria stopping laraib

medina over kabul - what a win by medina last week .. watch them continue their streak this week

granada over mecca - granada is coming off a strong win vs jeddah and mecca is recovering from a tough loss against damascus .. game of the week is worth the title .. battle of the bigs (farhad/bozz vs micah/rob) .. battle of the brothers (adham vs ahmed) .. if yamin starts strong in this game like he did last season, it will be another blowout for granada and another self destruct for mecca

jeddah over baghdad - superstar chris diaz led the way for baghdad last week, as jeddah was struggling with the superstars of granada Smile .. i see jeddah coming back strong this week and maybe baghdad will try to win without a guest

cairo over jerusalem - cairo lost a heartbreaker and jerusalem blew-out a depleted cordoba .. this will be an interesting game .. cairo needs to step up strong this week to overcome their issues

cordoba over istanbul - not impressed by istanbul's offense this year at all .. nour is a huge addition to their team but ammar needs to have a breakout game .. if cordoba fields their full team, i can see them outshooting istanbul in 3's

damascus over bukhara - damascus is coming off a strong win over powerhouse mecca .. bukhara is out of guest passes and will start running with their own team .. now we will see if bukhara are real contenders .. shamir vs ardell will be a nice matchup

I think the key for Damascus getting past Bukhara will be (like it is for most teams this season) if their whole team shows up. Their offense has struggled when Ardell hasn't been there. We need more FA hookshots!

Jeddah needs to redeem themselves this week. Props to Granada for giving us a reality check. Ed put together a really dangerous team. They are going to be a tough team to beat.

The only game we struggled offensively was against istanbul. yes that was sad offensive performance. we could of easily scored 50+ but we played the wrong style. that wont happen again. period. we played the the way istanbul wanted us to do. props to them. lol ill be sure to start launching more hook shots even from the 3 point line.

id like to publicly apologize for my embarassing showings at 3/4 games ive played...ive shot the ball horrendously and ive played not much better overall...ive let myself and my teammates down...i assure you all this will turn around in the second half of the season.

that is a promise.

Medina over Kabul. Ariel is on fire after last weeks 40 pt game against one of the best players in MB league Bron Shuler according to stats. I expect alot from Kabul to wash out his noisemaking, that I probably won't see.

Alexandria over Fez. Unless Fez brings awesome guests, and/or Alat goes to Mugsy Bogues overnight basketball camp.

Granada over Mecca. MB's current undefeated team, substantiated their dominance and presence with a blowout win against Isaiah and Co. They are the team to beat. All teams are finding a difficult team getting those easy drive paint points against Granada. If Mecca brings their full squad along with great synergy it will be a close game, if they don't bring their A (fay) game, a blowout is not of question. Granada Averages 38.8 team RPG and 10.4 team APG Mecca Averages 28.8 team RPG and 10.6 team APG. It will be a very interesting turn out iA.

Jeddah Vs. Baghdad: Tossup. Chris Diaz vs Isaiah. It will come down to who controls the boards.

Istanbul over Cordoba. Istanbul needs to limit Hassan's scoring to the best of their ability, and ocmpletely shut down role players, that will give them their win.

Jerusalem over Cairo. Too much team beef on Cairo for them to play proper team ball, Victor and Andre put on a show.

Damasucs over Bukara. This will be a good game till Ardell starts draining everything and TQ controls boards.

Let your game do the talking.

Jerusalem is by far the worst rebounding team in the league. Brons gonna clean up the boards, Cairo is gonna win, even is Victor and Andre combine for 50. Its not a stat we keep obviously, but Cairo is gonna have liek 20+ 2nd chance points.

whoa whoa, Ariel didn't put 40 points on me lol I guarded him the last 2 minutes of the game lol sheesh

and I won't be there this weekend, I have another game in the city and won't make it back in time. But Yosuf, ammar and zeeshan can still get enough rebounds in our favor and puneet is back.

Very true. That's why I'm really curious to see how they fare against one of the other top teams this week.

I think Jerusalem is gonna beat Cairo. Especially since Bron won't be there to intimidate them on defense lol.

I love how our games never get taped. Wackness. Last season's infamous "bad tape" and two other times no one would volunteer to tape it. Another reason to pay for statkeepers/cameramen next season.

no one to blame but ourselves for last weekend's game .. this was Granada/Mecca own fault .. we were responsible for finding statkeepers and a cameraman

imo ..
1. definitely would consider paying for statkeepers .. but what happens when someone's stats aren't correct and then they complain that they are paying for it?
2. not so interested in a cameraman

haha laraib. your team is hovering around the stat sheet even before the game is over...win or lose. Ed, we are responsible for getting stat keepers and a cameraman? i'm confused.

since Granada and Mecca missed stats one week .. they were responsible for finding statkeepers for when they played each other
