|---|---|---|---|
| Week 5 | 4-1 | 4 | Credit to Delhi for battling through impossible circumstances. Playing with just four players—and without Abdul Ghanee—was always going to be an uphill battle. Samy and Xavier refused to back down, combining for 33 points, while Xavier knocked down 5 of his 9 attempts from beyond the arc. This loss against Gaza isn't a reflection of what Delhi is capable of at full strength. Flush it and move on. |
| Week 4 | 4-0 | 1 | It's becoming increasingly clear that this team doesn't have just one superstar—it has several. And when one star is unavailable, another is ready to step up. With Abdul Ghanee out, Xavier Pulla and Samy Lazrak rose to the occasion, leading Delhi to a hard-fought win in a much tighter game than expected. The two rookies showed great chemistry, constantly finding each other and delivering in key moments. Whether creating for themselves or their teammates, they knocked down big shots and kept the offense flowing. Chris also turned in a strong performance and continues to be the veteran presence every team needs. When he's not making tough baskets, he's guiding the younger players, keeping them composed, and acting like an extension of the coaching staff on the floor. |
| Week 3 | 3-0 | 2 | Talk about the underdogs right now—this team is turning heads! What a performance from Abdul-Ghanee with 21 points and 8 rebounds, and Xavier Pulla, who added 14 points. This is a group fueled by nonstop energy, and you can’t afford to get comfortable for a single second against them. Their quickness, hustle, and smart playmaking are what really set the tone, and they’re starting to look like a team nobody wants to see on their schedule. |
| Week 2 | 2-0 | 5 | One of MB’s newest-looking squads, led by Captain Mairaj and reigning champion Mohamed Eladl. While most of the roster is still new to the league, it’s obvious these guys know how to compete. Their win over Granada was a big early statement and could easily set the tone for the rest of their season. Abdul-Ghanee was the standout performer, finishing with 14 points while consistently being Delhi’s go-to option throughout the game. His handle is seriously impressive, and he played with confidence every time the ball was in his hands. Samy Lazrak also brings a ton of energy to the squad, and if his shot starts falling consistently, he’s going to be a major problem for opposing teams. With the impact both of these guys are already making, they could quickly become serious Rookie of the Year candidates this season. |
| Week 1 | 1-0 | 13 | Shoutout to Mairaj for still trying to get a scrimmage together after the forfeit. Respect. |
