It may be surprising to see Tubas ranked third after a loss to Shatila, but that defeat does not significantly hurt their standing. Tubas owns two defining wins and a close loss to Rafah, the current top seed, making them arguably the strongest 2–2 team in the league. Their remaining schedule appears favorable, with upcoming matchups against Jerusalem in Week 5 and Gaza in Week 7. In the “Clash of the Titans” against Rafah, Tubas showed exactly how important Saad Qureshi is to their success. Even on an off night (5–18), Tubas kept the game within five points, an impressive sign of their overall balance. David Barber continues to be a double-double machine, while Ahmed Naiem fills every statistical column with quiet consistency. With meaningful contributions coming from nearly every player, Tubas remains poised, confident, and fully capable of staying in the title race.

Projected Finish: #2

Week 3 2-1 1

Tubas holds the top spot with two strong outings against Nazareth and Gaza that showed complete control on both ends of the floor. Their gritty win in Week 1 followed by a smooth victory over Gaza proves they already have a well-established identity early in the season. Saad Qureshi has been spectacular, putting up MVP-caliber numbers with elite efficiency and confident scoring in every matchup.

One minor concern for Tubas is how they will respond if a team pushes them into a faster and more chaotic pace of play. Even with that question in mind, their depth and consistency continue to separate them from the rest of the league. The team plays with a calm and disciplined approach that makes them incredibly difficult to disrupt. Tubas has built real momentum and continues to look like the most complete contender through the first two weeks.
