Week 6 3-3 6

On the W side of the OT thriller, Towfeek Hamzeh (11pts) had two clutch middies to seal the deal, while Kasey Ramsey put in a double-double (10pts, 11reb). They were missing two of their better players this game, and it seems like Bethlehem has been playing a high IQ game as of late, especially with Malik and Ibraheem on the court.

Week 5 2-3 7

Bethlehem put up a fight without key players on here this week, and almost had a last minute comeback. Like I’ve said, I really like the medium-big lineup of Kasey (19pts) and Shaharia (17pts) and I can imagine if the rest of the squad was there, they could’ve changed this L into a W.

Week 4 2-2 6

Araiz Spall continues his MIP campaign, scoring 16 points on 7-9 shooting. Week 3’s POTW Shaharia Shajib also left his mark on the game, 15 points and 8 rebounds. The medium big lineup in Shaharia and Kasey Ramsey is working great for them right now, and they’re only getting more comfortable.

Week 2 0-2 9

Missing a lot of players this week, Bethlehem was led by Ibraheem Sharaf and Araiz Spall, both leading this game with 14pts a piece. Kasey had 10 rebounds. If they had their players, it may have been a different game.

Week 1 0-1 8

A tough loss, but a good showing from Shaharia Shajib (10pts, 14reb), working the boards and the paint. Ibraheem finished with 11pts and Towfeek had 10pts before he went down with injury. Might’ve been a different game if he stayed in. Once Kasey comes back, I’m sure the W’s will come.

Preseason 0-0 5

Ibraheem and Araiz are back, but with slight tweaks and changes, adding Kasey Ramsey and Towfeek to the mix. No Lil O this season, which might hurt them. But I’m still looking forward to seeing how this team meshes with Malik and Shaharia Shajib. The Akka rebrand is in the works, so let’s see if it’s a success.
