Week 5 4-1 2

Convincing win for Haifa over a talented Al-Bireh team. Shahzaib continues to be a central force with 22 points and opening things up for his teammates, including a nice 14 points for Raj with 4-8 from three. It’s been super impressive how many good 3-point looks they can consistently generate and they have the shooters to convert. Great defense to hold the opposition to 29% from the field.

Week 4 3-1 2

Third week in a row talking about Amir Charrkas’ efficiency with 28 points on 15 shots. He’s averaging 27 on unreal 57/57/91 splits this season. Shahzaib took on the tough defensive assignments, leading to a close but comfortable win over a strong Rafah team. This was all without Deep, arguably their most important player.

Week 3 2-1 4

Not sure what Gaza did to deserve the beatdown Haifa gave them. With an 18 point lead at half, Haifa outscored Gaza by 30 in the second half. Amir Charrkas had a machine like 28 points on 13 shots. Shahzaib turned it into a track meet, finishing with 27 of his own. Big test for the defense next week in a huge game vs Rafah.

Week 2 1-1 6

The offensive explosion we all expected and Haifa needed has arrived. Amir Charrkas with 24 points on 14 shots in his season debut. Wow. And Shahzaib matching him with 19 of his own. Deep and Raj have yet to make a statement, which is scary. How they’ll do on defense is the question keeping them from being higher.

Week 1 0-1 15

Haifa was carried by a standout 25-point performance from Shahzaib Khan, who kept the team competitive with aggressive shot-making. Adam Charrkas chipped in 11 points and efficient three-point shooting, but the team’s struggles at the free-throw line and limited rebounding held them back. With only 14 total boards and just one made free throw, Haifa couldn’t generate enough extra possessions to overcome Areeha’s scoring depth.
