WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
---|---|---|---|
Week 10 | 0-10 | 22 | Unbelievable statistical season for one of the greatest scorers to play in the league. One point I wanted to address was the notional that there was an inverse relationship between Abdul’s points scored and margin of defeat - after running the regression there is actually ZERO correlation between the two, which is still kind of funny. Even though it literally meant nothing to his team, Abdul still lit it up in our hearts. |
Week 9 | 0-9 | 22 | |
Week 8 | 0-8 | 22 | That box score is real. REAL. VERY VERY REAL. It’s fair to say Abul ONLY had 44 because the other team had 109. ONE HUNDRED AND NINE. |
Week 7 | 0-7 | 22 | Kind of challenged Granada, but had absolutely no answer on offense when Abdul wasn’t getting it done. If it wasn’t for some late 3s, this would’ve been a 20 point loss. |
Week 6 | 0-6 | 22 | oh wow. |
Week 5 | 0-5 | 22 | Abdul gonna need to push his average up to like 50. How he shoots 48.5% is besides me. Dude be hitting some of the toughest floaters imaginable. Little bro gotta chill pulling those wild 3s though. Let Abdul take the shots. |
Week 4 | 0-4 | 21 | Starting to just look like stat padding for Abdul. He's playing hard, but there's no chance. |
Week 3 | 0-3 | 20 | New Popal, same problems. L. |
Week 2 | 0-2 | 21 | It’s not even like Abdul is chasing points and putting up bad shots. He’s been efficient and really is not forcing shots. Someone else will have to defend or do something to allow Abdul to be the difference. How do you give up 36 points to a 32 year old old-man and father?! |
Week 1 | 0-1 | 18 | Abdul Motaleb Popal. Wow. Someone else will have to do something alongside him, but wow, he might singlehandedly get them some games. |
Preseason | 0-0 | 18 |
