New Jersey (North): Suba (D2)
Power Ranking By Week | |||
WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
---|---|---|---|
Week 10 | 4-6 | 15 | After a great start to the season they faded a bit, but remained one of the better defensive teams in the league. This is no longer your regular Suba team, they’ve shown dramatic improvement and have the foundation of a respectable team. |
Week 9 | 4-5 | 13 | |
Week 8 | 3-5 | 13 | Not a bad loss. |
Week 7 | 3-4 | 16 | Because they won. |
Week 6 | 2-4 | 17 | Old Suba, same problems, same results. |
Week 5 | 2-3 | 17 | Getting back to the old Suba ways. |
Week 4 | 2-2 | 15 | They played the better versions of themselves. A team that shares the ball and plays unselfishly, but they don't have a single guy who can take over and just dominate. Islamabad does, but doesn't need to use it. They were outmatched talent wise and couldn't do anything about it. Nobody stepped up to give them a chance. |
Week 3 | 2-1 | 12 | The magic wore off a bit after 5 halves of terrific basketball. They lost to the defending champs, no shame in that. Got smacked a bit in the second half, so they’ll need to come out swinging to regain our trust. |
Week 2 | 2-0 | 10 | I’m not sure how to feel because seeing a zero in the Suba loss column feels too new. Good work fellas. |
Week 1 | 1-0 | 11 | Did not see this one coming. They looked good. Couple of new faces – maybe this is their year to make some noise and play some meaningful basketball. After beating Mombasa, they can no longer be taken lightly. |
Preseason | 0-0 | 11 |
