Power Ranking By Week | |||
WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
---|---|---|---|
Week 10 | 2-8 | 20 | This may very well be the end for a team that won a championship not too long ago. |
Week 9 | 2-7 | 20 | |
Week 8 | 2-6 | 20 | Lost with 5 guys, played against 4. Was the most boring game I’ve ever seen. Ahmed Faraj would have had 10 rebounds and 30 points if he could make a layup. |
Week 7 | 2-5 | 20 | Played a respectable first half. Couldn’t handle Islamabad beyond that. |
Week 6 | 2-4 | 17 | Very respectable fight, but they just don’t have the weapons to break Jakarta’s caliber of defense. |
Week 5 | 2-3 | 18 | Prayers go out to Mohamed Miraoui, that was not a pretty sight. Great game from Osamah, but not nearly enough to top the new kings of the PR. |
Week 4 | 2-2 | 16 | I liked the balance offensive attack, but it wasn't enough. They have a couple guys who are somewhat capable of leading a team, they've done it in the past, but I cannot feel confident in their ability to do so. They're a bottom third team, but they are the one team that could potentially catch some sort of fire and make a little bit of a run. |
Week 3 | 2-1 | 17 | They’re 2-1 but they just do not look comfortable. Nothing I have seen in their first 3 games has lead me to believe this could be a return of the championship team from Spring 2014. |
Week 2 | 1-1 | 17 | Nothing encouraging from that performance. At all. |
Week 1 | 1-0 | 10 | Hamza seemed a bit unconfortable in his MB return, but Ahmed “James Harden” Farag stole the show, dumping in a career high of 20. Mohamed Miraoui also had a carrer high of 16. Don’t expect to see career highs every week, but also do not expect the Alaqrabawi brothers to shoot 2/12 and only contribute 8 points. Ameed, arguably their best player, wasn’t present, so look for them to only get better from here. |
