First and foremost, congrats to the 4 teams that have gotten this far, well deserved.
Amman vs. Mombasa
This game will be a track meet, but I see it coming down to the final few plays and who shows up defensively. Moayad has my vote for most improved player. He's transformed into a leader, and efficient scorer overnight. Rather than settling for difficult jumpers, he is taking advantage of his quickness to draw fouls and get to the basket. And lets not forget about his backcourt mate Luis, and has quickly made a name for himself, with his stellar defense and scoring. But at the end of the day, Mombassa still has Raza and Weiss.... not to mention a scoring machine in Yousef. I think Amman's Cinderella season comes to an end, with a game winning assist from Raza to Yousef.
Islamabad vs. Dhaka
Watching Dhaka is like watching the Spurs, they don't care who scores, they never yell at each other and Dr. Mairaj is Coach Pop. All they do is win. Farzad has come alive these past few weeks, and Koyas has become their best player. Both all-stars will have to play their best on both ends to compete with the Abbassi family. I expect Ali and Farhad to play big as well. Speaking of playing big, Billal Biggz Abbassi will have his fingerprints all over this game. I know he still has a bad taste in his mouth from our finals loss (Mecca 2017) to Dhaka, and he doesn't want the fam to go through that. Omar will get his 15&15, Islam will be the midrange assassin that we all know him for, but one more family member needs to step up. I'm talking about Mr. Fursan Abbassi! A player who has averaged 20 in D1, and who is more than capable of winning a game on his own. If he can get hot and spread the court, along with playing lock down defense, we should have ourselves a good one. With that being said, Im going to go with Islamabad, b/c blood is thicker than water and defense wins championships. But hey if Dhaka proves me wrong, it wouldn't be a first.
