|---|---|---|---|
| Week 5 | 4-1 | 2 | Granada continues to prove why they're one of the league's hottest teams. Even against a talented opponent, they never looked rattled, and Aidan's absence for Amman certainly helped their cause. Towfeek led the way with 20 points while Omar "Lil O" Abbassi added 16, fueling another dominant second-half performance. Their poise in close games continues to separate them—a quality every championship contender needs. |
| Week 4 | 3-1 | 4 | A massive statement win for Granada against a very tough Islamabad squad. The dynamic duo of Omar and Towfeek powered the team to a convincing victory, doing it shorthanded with just five players available. Towfeek delivered a strong double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Omar led the scoring with 26 points, including six triples from beyond the arc. When these two are clicking, they’re extremely difficult to contain, and Islamabad simply had no answer despite strong names like Omar, Jamall, and Aymen in their rotation. A gutsy, composed win from Granada—one that only strengthens the feeling that this group is trending toward the top of the standings. |
| Week 3 | 2-1 | 5 | The electric backcourt tandem of Towfeek and Omar “Lil O” Abbassi came through once again, powering their team past Tripoli in a hard-fought battle. Towfeek stuffed the stat sheet with a dominant double-double, finishing with 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Lil O chipped in 18 points of his own. When these two get rolling, they’re a nightmare matchup for any opponent—and the scary part is Omar still hasn’t fully found his rhythm from beyond the arc. Once his three-point shot starts falling consistently, this team has all the pieces to establish itself as a serious playoff contender. |
| Week 2 | 1-1 | 8 | Another Granada game that came down to the final buzzer, but unlike last week’s thrilling win over Cairo off an Abbassi game-winner, this one ended in heartbreak. One thing is certain though — Granada is a gritty team that refuses to take its foot off the gas. And without Omar Abbassi in the lineup this week, you can’t help but wonder how different the outcome could’ve been if he was available. Against a very energetic Delhi squad, it was encouraging to see other pieces step up alongside reigning Player of the Week Towfeek. Omar “Big O” Abbassi controlled the paint with 13 points and 12 rebounds, while CNJ veteran Ibraheem Sharaf made his return and immediately added valuable size and shooting to the lineup. Araiz Spall also had a strong outing and he’s continuing to show he can be one of Granada’s biggest difference-makers moving forward. |
| Week 1 | 1-0 | 6 | Omar “Lil O” Abbassi really said, “I’m back.” And what better way to announce it than with a Week 1 game-winner? With 5 seconds left, Omar delivered the clutch bucket to seal a hard-fought win over Cairo. Experience showed late, and Granada leaned on it when it mattered most. Towfeek was also in full takeover mode, dropping 27 points and hitting the huge game-tying bucket late in regulation. This backcourt duo is going to be a problem all season long, and there are already a few teams circling this matchup on the schedule. |
