New Jersey (Central): Al-Khalil (D2)

| WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Week 6 | 1-5 | 11 | Khalil Farraj (15pts) decided to show up, but no one else. Despite the final scoreboard, I thought this game was winnable for Al-Khalil. Elton, who was coming off a borderline MVP-esque season in the Summer, has two games to figure it out if they want a chance in the post season. |
| Week 5 | 1-4 | 9 | Big congrats to the boys over at Al-Khalil for winning their first game of the season! And in a blowout, no less. Behind a double-double from Elton (15pts, 10reb, 7ast). Three other teammates scoring in the double digits, too. I think if they come out this hot against other teams, they have a legit shot at moving up in the ranks. |
| Week 4 | 0-4 | 11 | A double-double from Ahmed Kasana (10pts, 10reb), but they couldn’t finish out the game. This squad was led by Youssef Elshenawy (12pts), and if Elton had a better game, they could have taken it this week. |
| Week 2 | 0-2 | 10 | Looks like they played decent, and if I can do my math right, Elton finished with a team high 10 points. A bright spot here is that rebounds are coming more easily to this squad, and when they start winning on the glass, I’m sure they’ll start winning games. |
| Week 1 | 0-1 | 10 | Losing a 5v4 is never a good thing. Khalil Farraj led the squad with 12pts, but it’s obvious that there will be growing pains for this team. I expect better weeks from Usama, he’s a dead-eye and this young team will rely on him more. They look like they have talent, but getting the rookies up to game speed may take a game or two. |
| Preseason | 0-0 | 10 | No Elton, No Dasar, but I see they fixed their center woes. Let’s see how Khalil and friends play on the court. |
