New Jersey (Central): Rafah (D2)
| Power Ranking By Week | |||
| WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Week 6 | 5-1 | 2 | Rafah, with Devin Bennet (25pts, 12reb) and Gagan Dhaliwal (DNP), are a borderline clear-cut #1. Mohammad Popal also had 14 points and Bashir had 11 points. Once the role players become more consistent, I think that this squad will get back to the top. |
| Week 5 | 4-1 | 2 | No Gagan, Dev, or Week 4 POTW MP3 this game. Mohammad Popal did show up, and went 6-27 (1-17 from 3). Ouch. Mohamed Eladl led scoring with 15 points while Yusuf Shehata got 15 boards. A game to forget for this team. Once everyone’s back, I’m sure winning will be on the menu again. |
| Week 4 | 4-0 | 1 | When you think you have an answer for Gagan (14pts, 10ast, 7reb), then you have to figure out how to cover everyone else. In this case, MP3 came out scorching hot, scoring 36 points on 14-24 shooting. A solid win without Devin, too. This is a championship squad, folks. |
| Week 2 | 2-0 | 1 | The team that stays on top behind a Devin Bennett (24pts, 12reb) game winner and Gagan (20pts) causing havoc all over the court. They took down the finalists in back-to-back weeks, and I can’t see anyone taking them down for now. |
| Week 1 | 1-0 | 1 | Despite Gagan (10pts) getting teched out of the game, they held Tiberias down. Mohamed Eladl (8pts, 9reb) scored in the paint with ease, and not to mentioned Devin Bennett being a force down low, even if he didn’t score much. He was a clear difference maker here. |
| Preseason | 0-0 | 2 | Gagan and MP, the Winter 2025 champs are teaming up once again, this time bringing Mohammad Bashir, Summer 2024 champ Mohamed Eladl, and Kasabi into the fold. Not to mention Devin Bennett, who I’m hearing is a favorite to win MVP this season. |
