A game they won pretty easily behind Elias’ 17 points and Marawan Elbaz scoring/boarding 11 and 11. There’s nothing really more to say. Nazareth is fighting for a top four seed, and will have to bring out the best performance against the boys over at Rafah. 

I gotta apologize, I didn’t know Atef Zeed (21pts) had it in him. Take a bow. Marawan looks like he’s his old double-double self now, scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Coach Elias has created a formula that’s working for them. 

Coach Elias (17pts) is continuing to get the most out of his players—Hussein Barahma (19pts, 8-12) looks like a player we’ll have to watch out for this season, and going forward. Marawan led the boards with 9 in the game. 

Coach Elias is getting the best out of his players. Marawan (13pts, 16reb) continues from last season, dominating the glass and the paint. Hussein Barahma (16pts, 7-12) is one of the bright youngsters on this team—I’m looking forward to him getting better as the season progresses. Atef Zeed also helped out in this win, scoring 9pts, but also 5ast and 4stls.

A young, new Nazareth team which looks rough around the edges. Mohamed Adam had 13pts and Hussein Barahma had 10pts, 7reb. This is a team which I can tell will develop throughout the season, and behind Coach/Cap/GM Elias, they might win some quality games. 

New look Nazareth might be one you might want to look away from at first glance, only because there’s no Shafic or Mana here. Cap Elias is investing in his youth, bringing Hussein and Ali onto this team, not to mention the double-double machine Marawan Elbaz.
