New Jersey (North): Jerusalem (D2)
| Power Ranking By Week | |||
| WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Week 5 | 2-3 | 10 | Lots of good signs from Jerusalem’s offense as they got off to an early lead moving the ball from side to side against the zone. Mo Masri 5-11 from 3 is massive. The muscle memory is there and he’s heating up. They were able to hold on after Yazur switched to man, with Mike dropping a casual 30. A bit concerning that they let Yazur have season highs in PTS, FGM, FG%. |
| Week 4 | 1-3 | 10 | Complete dominance from the tip off to the final whistle for Jerusalem, which is great to see with all the talent on the roster. Nick Fajvan has been sighted, with 23 points on 10-19, and what has become a numbing 31 from Michael Knight. Hard to take away a lot from this game with the absences but they have enough upcoming matchups to start stacking wins. |
| Week 3 | 0-3 | 11 | A talented team but too many weaknesses to gameplan around for Jerusalem. The league’s worst defense opted for a zone but in doing so put themselves in a three point shootout with one of the best shooting teams in the league, while they’re 14th in the league in 3PT%. Michael Knight with another 41 points on 19 shots. |
| Week 2 | 0-2 | 9 | Another offensive explosion for Michael Knight and another loss for Jerusalem. Frustrating 0-2 start for this team but with 2 strong opponents to open the season and missing Nick this week, there’s a lot of room for them to turn it around. They shouldn’t be this low for long. |
| Week 1 | 0-1 | 9 | Massive performance from Michael K, who dominated all facets of the game with 14 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals. Despite his heroic effort, the team struggled with efficiency—shooting just 36% from the field and 23% from deep while committing 9 turnovers. Strong rebounding (47 total) kept them in the fight, but the lack of scoring support made it tough to match Bethlehem’s balanced attack. |
