WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
---|---|---|---|
Week 7 | 1-6 | 11 | Another week, another loss for the squad. Honestly very surprising, because on paper, I feel as though they should matchup with almost everyone. However, in game, the shooters haven’t been hitting shots, leading to Mahrooz having to really do everything by himself. However; still a team I wouldn’t really wanna play because you never know, you could catch them on a bad night, and lose due to the shooters catching fire. |
Week 6 | 1-5 | 11 | I honestly was shocked they lost this game, and I think it comes down to the team not really knowing how to play with one another. Still think this is a team nobody really wants to play, because if they figure it out, they’ll be scary. I think they need to get Mo some more shots, because he’s a sniper, and they’re not really utilizing him like they should. But, they could figure it out at any given moment. |
Week 5 | 1-4 | 9 | Mahrooz POTW. Not much else to be said, 41-17-5 with super efficiency is really what got them this win, I was honestly a bit surprised looking at the box score after noticing they were without masri this week, I feel this is the start of a run for Sheikh Jarrah, they’re finally beginning to figure it out as a squad, and this is def a sleeper team with some really elite talent on the offensive end, great team win and looking to see them continue on a positive note moving forward. |
Week 4 | 0-4 | 12 | This team is fading and its fading fast. Granted, they haven’t had the benefit of a decent schedule to build chemistry with one another, but every week it’s been something, whether it’s turnovers or missing shots. Mahrooz is the only consistent on this team as of right now and that must change if they want to flip the script on their season. Co stars in omar Hussein and mo masri must be better in their roles if they want to find success, combining for 2-21 is unacceptable. There’s too much talent on this team in my opinion to have this bad of a record through 4 games. Looking to see them rebo |
Week 3 | 0-3 | 12 | Best game they’ve played, but still no wins. Mahrooz played great, but the lack of chemistry so far is what’s really hurting them in my opinion. They definitely have enough talent to win games against pretty much anyone in the league, as we saw them up 16 against the 1 seed. They kinda lost this game for themselves with all the turnovers. . A step in the right direction, but I’m looking to see them build on the positives of this game and get in the win column next week. |
Week 2 | 0-2 | 12 | Back-to-back losses for a team that came in with high expectations. Chemistry and offensive flow remain a work in progres, also lacking some true consistency from anyone other than Mahrooz. I was really surprised to see them lose this game considering the opposition were down arguably their best player. |
Week 1 | 0-1 | 9 | his was a surprising loss to me, however, I’ll chalk it up to them just not having the chemistry there yet. Two recipes for success for this team in my opinion are to get Nader more shots, and to get Mahrooz more available looks within the 3 pt line. |
