Power Ranking By Week | |||
WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
---|---|---|---|
Week 7 | 4-3 | 7 | Musa with 22, 19, and 7. Balled out yet again, all around great performance from him. They survived the Anas Najib legacy game. Everyone contributed this week, and it led to a W. If they continue to play team basketball and play through their stars, they’re going to be difficult to beat on any given Wednesday. |
Week 6 | 3-3 | 8 | Wow Musa came to play, had to have shown why he felt like he should’ve been #1 overall and made a strong case for it. 38 and 17 is crazy. But, it’s a team game and that showed with them losing by 15. They need more contribution from Moayad and Khaled if they want to continue to get Ws. It can’t be all on Musa’s shoulders, because in the second half, their offense fizzled out with no additional options coming through. Still a great team, looking to see them bounce back next week with a W. |
Week 5 | 3-2 | 7 | Good win from a team that is in my opinion better than the record states, Musa with yet another great game, 28 and 20, throwing the squad on his back, while quietly shooting amazing from 3 on the season, super impressive stuff from him. I’m looking for Moayad to really continue to assert himself as the second option with Musa, to give Moose some relief on O. Moayad and Khaled actually decided to show up to the same game which is bangin, and helped result in the dub this week. Good team game all around, interesting matchup week 6 against Rafah, excited to see who comes out on top. |
Week 4 | 2-2 | 6 | Big win against an opponent who was 3-0, and probably favored to win this game. The squad came out and did their thing against a team who has looked really strong thus far, Muhammad Assaf provided a much needed spark this week due to the goat Khaled being out. Musa did his thing on both ends of the floor again, however, I’d love to see him be more aggressive. Everyone on the team did enough to get the W and they’re looking better as we continue to move along. |
Week 3 | 1-2 | 10 | Another tight loss against a top team. Musa keeps producing, which isn’t much of a surprise, but the lack of help and efficiency from pretty much anyone else killed them this week. Granted, this game could’ve been much different had running mate Moayad been there, but vacations outweigh the passion during the summer seasons. Could easily be 2-1 if they clean up a few things and capitalize on premier opportunities. |
Week 2 | 1-1 | 9 | Offense wasn’t the issue, but they couldn’t string together a win this week. I really feel like this was a case of a bad matchup for this team, considering Musa still had an elite performance. I really think someone has to help Musa down low as a paint presence, just watching the game back they gave up aloooooot of second chance points. |
Week 1 | 1-0 | 1 | They showed that they could score with some elite options on the other side in Haifa’s team, interested to see if they can keep the consistency up. |
Preseason | 0-0 | 3 |
