WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
---|---|---|---|
Week 6 | 5-1 | 4 | Forfeit W? Check. Gas wasted? Also check. |
Week 5 | 4-1 | 5 | 5v4 and barely, and I mean BARELY winning. Shafic had 22 points while Amir Hassan had 10 points, 21 boards, and a lot to say to a team pushing them to the limits. Did I mention the team they played only had 4 guys? This is a game they need to forget. |
Week 4 | 3-1 | 3 | Almost beating a Beit Jala team with their five best players on the court, and without your star PG tells you how good this squad is. Omar Mana (28pts, 11reb) tried to carry this team, but could only do so much. Elias had 12 points and 8 assists, while newcomer Mohamed Moustafa had 11 points. Costly turnovers and late fouls killed this team, but I have no doubt that once Shafic is done watching the PGA Tour, they’ll be back on track. |
Week 3 | 3-0 | 1 | Once again, Nazareth are the blueprint for success in Central, led by a Shafic-less squad this week. Hussein Barahma led the team with 21 points while Omar Mana helped out with 18pts and 15 boards. As a team, they’re as smart as they come, and adjust as much as they can to their opponents. Now they’re showing how much depth they really have. |
Week 2 | 2-0 | 1 | It might’ve been a 4v4 for most of this game, but it’s clear who the better 4 players were. Elias had 28 points, while Amir secured a double-double (20pts, 10reb). A casual day in the office. |
Week 1 | 1-0 | 1 | Even without Omar Mana and Amir Hassan, this team will be run smoothly behind the veteran leadership of Shafic (18pts, 7-15 shooting). Not to mention Coach Elias investing into their youth: Moad and Hussein finishing with 14 points each. This’ll be a scary team once they get their pieces back. |
