Week 7 3-4 8

They had Yazur on the ropes, but with Daishon getting hurt, they couldn’t finish it off. Mo Amin finished with his 4th double-double of the season (15pts, 11reb), while Amre had 12, being 4-7 from 3. Watching this game, the Sakar’s need to learn who should be handling the ball. I think a mix of Daishon being hurt, and the ball being in the wrong hands lost them the game. They’re a good team and I like them, but they make too many mistakes.

Week 6 3-3 7

Availability is the best quality, and we know that without Daishon, there’s an easy formula to beat this team. It was a good day for Ahmed Sakar, who had 12 points on 6-9 shooting. Mo also had a good game, having 10 points and 8 rebounds, but there’s only so much one can do when everyone else gets shut down. Daishon opens the floor, and makes this team deadly, without him, they’re another middle of the pack squad.

Week 5 3-2 7

No Daishon, but they took care of business. Mo Amin continues to have the best year in his 13 year career, going for 26 points and 10 rebounds, not to mention 6 assists. I know this team is thankful he landed to them as a FA, he makes this team what it is. Mohamed Sakar had 13 points. Can’t forget to mention captain Abdu getting his 4. As a team, they had 35 boards, which ultimately won them the game.

Week 4 2-2 8

Captain Abdurahmen thought it would be smooth sailing, but all they encountered was some very rough terrain. At one point in the game it was like seeing a deer in headlights. Fortunately for them Daishon was a bucket throughout, finishing with 30 points, but no one else really stepped up to help the team. Mohamed Amin was out who definitely would’ve helped make things more interesting, but it’s safe to say the crown doesn’t belong to anyone on this squad (looking at you, Abdurahmen).

Week 3 2-1 6

It was a close game in the first half before they blew it wide open in the second. Daishon led the way with 21 points, but I have to highlight Amre for being the sniper they need. Having 15 points on 5-9 shooting beyond the arc is impressive, and he’s shaping up to be one of the best 3-point specialists in the league. Mo Amin came back to earth this game, but I can imagine when this team is firing on all cylinders, they’re going to be dangerous.

Week 2 1-1 7

The debut of Daishon wasn’t disappointing whatsoever, 19 points on 7-12 shooting is the definition of efficient. Not to mention Mo Amin having yet another double-double, going for 24 points and 12 rebounds and getting POTW. You have to give props to everyone else on this squad, they’re playing their roles perfectly. They’re a scrappy team that’ll give opponents issues on both ends of the court. I can legitimately see them competing for a top 6 seed.

Week 1 0-1 11

Tied at the half, you thought they had a chance, especially being down Daishon. Mo Amin picked up right where he left off, having 26 points and 13 rebounds. Mohamed Sakar also put up a modest 13 points. I think this is a great team who hasn’t entirely shown who they are just yet.

Preseason 0-0 10

The only names I recognize on this team are Daishon Robinson and Mo Amin. If Daishon is still a bucket, and Mo can recreate his stat lines from last year, I can see this team causing trouble for their opponents each week.
