Week 9 2-7 11

While Farhad was playing basketball the rest of the Qibya squad was handing out tour dates. 6/15, 1/15, 2/7, 4/11. Buy now while supplies last.

Week 8 2-6 10

If this had a theme song it would be Trust Issues.

Week 7 2-5 11

They were without Farhad but nonetheless the matchup was still in their favorable. Aadil had 17 and Ali Mahin added 12 of his own. They should be back in the win column with Farhad back.

Week 6 2-4 9

This is without a doubt the most confusing team in the league. A starting five that could compete with most if not every starting five in the league. An upper echelon level player in Farhad. Solid guard and forwards. Perhaps some ball movement would solve the issue.

Week 5 2-3 7

If Bethlehem are the Avengers, I guess Qibya played the role of Thanos in this one. And who else to do the “inevitable” than MB GOAT himself, Farhad. Mr. Babury had 20 points 9 rebounds and 5 assists on 70% from the field. Aadil added 21 and 8 of his own and Raj Patel knocked down 4 3s. S/o Medo Zubi finally looks comfortable with this squad with 5, 7 and 7. If he can continue that sort of production, Bethlehem will be tough to contain.

Week 4 1-3 9

Arguably the most confusing team on a week-to-week basis. One week they look poised and cannot miss. The other they look like they are playing hero ball and don’t want to get rid of the basketball. Too much talent to not figure it out.

Week 3 1-2 5

They had their entire squad together and they meshed very well. Farhad’s secret to his continued success? Avocado ice cream and Bamya. Totally kidding about the Bamya part. But the MB Goat sure made things easy for his team. Raj Patel had 18, Aadil with 17 and Ali Mahi knocked down 4 from downtown. Nice to see the young buck Medo Zubi more involved this week as well.

Week 2 0-2 11

I agree, Farhad was not there. I agree, they were playing a solid team that really outsized them. But I don't think the problems that this team has will magically disappear when Farhad steps back on the court. They really more from all their players on both sides of the ball and not play hero ball.

Week 1 0-1 9

The box score doesn’t tell the whole tale, actually, yes it does. They committed 19 team fouls. They lost the rebounding, FT and TO battles. Aadil taking 6 shots is very underwhelming and same goes for Medo, who is supposed to be this team’s main floor general.

Preseason 0-0 3

Aadil + Farhad = 40 minutes of grit and passion. Add in the shooting of Raj Patel, the versatility of Medo Zubi and Mohammed Abdelghani's defense?!?!?! Boy oh boy this team is going to be fun to watch. Aadil is my sleeper pick for MVP.
