WEEK RECORD RANK COMMENTS
Week 9 3-6 8

Third straight game missing key pieces but at least they had Moe Rayyan who was lights out from 3. Scoring wasn’t the issue last night, it was simply the defensive lapses and miscommunication that ultimately led to a lot of transition points for Al-Quds. Hope Yamin can get his teammates back in time for the playoffs because they had something building.

Week 8 3-5 8

Another team without 4 key contributors so let’s keep em here.

Week 7 3-4 6

Another tight one for Al-Wehdat and it took all hands on deck to get this win. They had 4 players in double digits and contained Ali Hassan to 6-17 from the field. Two of their next three games are extremely winnable games.

Week 6 2-4 7

Not the greatest of matchups for them in this one, but they dug themselves too large of a deficit early on. It doesn’t help that they were outrebounded by 19 and shot 20% from 3.

Week 5 2-3 9

No Moe Rayyan for this squad and they coukd have used his shooting. But Khan Yunis had too much fire power for Yamin and friends. 29% as a team is hard to overcome but better days will be ahead for this group.

Week 4 2-2 6

Another GM who broke the soundwaves with the trade heard around the MB world. But based on the eye test, it benefitted the overall team. Even shot distribution as well as 19 assists as a unit is impressive.

Week 3 1-2 7

Losers of two in a row, Team Yamin could be in the market for another playmaker to help take the load off Raza. Ahmad Chaabane came to life in the second half and Mahdy did his usual work but they needed more from the rest of the squad. They do lack some depth but that’s something coach Yamin has to figure out.

Week 2 1-1 5

This team was one scorer away from really competing with a formidable foe. Yes, Raza was missing and had he been present, I believe the outcome would have been different. Nonetheless, Mahdy went straight Super Saiyan going for 32 and 16. Ahmad Chaabane has to join the party eventually, right?

Week 1 1-0 6

Woah woah woah. Raza going for 20 with a team not named Mombasa?!?!!? Good stuff. Mahdy Suleiman scoring 19 points is no surprise, but it was nice to see him dish out 4 assists as well. 2nd round pick Ahmad Chaabane with a quiet game but again its only week 1, so I expect the little rugrat to play better the rest of the way.

Preseason 0-0 9

This team will go only as far as Mahdy can take them. Ahmad Chaabane is no longer a pup and needs to be a consistent #2 option. Omar Marachli and Yamin are solid vets to have, and I expect them to contribute on a week to week basis.
