Power Ranking Trend

Power Ranking By Week
WEEK RECORD RANK COMMENTS
Week 10 2-8 12

I know they didn't have Elton but gotta play with a little more heart than that. Letting the other team score close to 100 is demoralizing right before playoffs. Hopefully they wipe this from their memory and come out strong next week.

Week 9 2-7 11

A win is a win.

Week 8 1-7 11

When Haifa wins, we all win (except Bir Seb'a and apparently Nazareth?). Elton and Usama clutched it up and Haifa is finally not #12 on the power rankings anymore.

Week 7 0-7 12

Man has this team had some close games this season. They were playing some great basketball throughout a few stretches of this game, but as is always the case they can never close it out. Can they get their first win against a fellow 11th seed Bir Seb'a next week? It is definitely much needed.

Week 6 0-6 12

I know they feel like this was a “we should’ve won this game” game. Close first half as usual, but they just can’t figure it out in the second half. Usama showed out with 22 points on 50% shooting. If 1 person can step up as a playmaker on this team they can definitely get a few wins together.

Week 5 0-5 12

It’s always a tough week when you remain winless, but tying the game up late shows promise going forward. One thing I’ve noticed—they need to take their time on possessions. They score more when they’re passing, and have a bad habit of walking the ball up and chucking a bad three.

Week 4 0-4 11

You would think after last weeks performance, Haifa would come out stronger. Elton and Usama with both 17, but defense is this teams main issue. They have a bad habit of keeping games close until the last 8 or so minutes. They’ll get a win soon, they just need to figure out how to finish.

Week 3 0-3 12

Haifa did a lot better this week than we expected them to. Usama and Elton led the way with 19 and 18 each. This game proved that they can ball, but really have to figure out their second half woes.

Week 2 0-2 12

Usama got that strap, dropping 28 points on 5 threes is impressive. He started off the game flaming hot and made some insane threes, but unfortunately the rest of his team couldn’t keep up. Losing by double digits both weeks will land you last on the power rankings. They’re up against Nazareth next week which is no walk in the park, so let’s see if they can get on the board even though all fingers are pointed the other way.

Week 1 0-1 9

All newcomers to the league but you can tell that they have some ballers. Elton Vojka showed flashes of being a shooting threat with 4 threes this game. It’s only up from here in terms of team chemistry so let’s see how they do as the weeks go by.
