Week 9 7-2 1

Now that the playoffs are here, it's time to reveal who the hardest team to beat is. Realistically, no one wants to face this team just due to their size. Not to mention, Austin and Pete are two of the most talented basketball players in this league. With both of them on the court, the team is undefeated and was only really tested one time. That being said, this team has been upset before, so they have to come to play to make it all the way.

Week 8 6-2 3

No Pete Brown for the second game in a row but I guess it was nice to see them show some heart this game and contend.

Week 7 6-1 1

After the butt whooping they were handed last night, would it be wrong if we awarded Pete Brown the MVP trophy for how much he means to this group? I overheard Lil O call Sabra the new Uber Eats, since they were getting what they wanted and when they wanted all game. But despite the loss, no Pete Brown is big and I don’t have it in me to drop them.

Week 6 6-0 1

Contender and consensus favorite

Week 5 5-0 1

Are you not entertained?!?! Pete Brown with 20 and 14. Moe Masri with 15 points knocking down 5 treys. Raza with 12 and Austin with 12 of his own. They have size, shooting, speed and team chemistry. This is one of the most talented Weiss led teams in quite some time. I don’t see them relinquishing this top spot anytime soon.

Week 4 4-0 1

The anointed number one seed, with yet another statement win. Masta Weiss was hosting a Chuckie Cheese birthday party last night and brought everyone pizza. Shortly after, a basketball game was played and Sabra was giving out all kinds of presents. Moe Masri had 19, Sadat with 17 and Coach Petey had 16, 13 and 4. But I will point out, Sabra’s last 4 games of the season are going to be against some of the league’s best.

Week 3 3-0 1

Masta Weiss ain’t no stranger to being at the top of the mountain. The Sabra squad had to make a few transactions and despite the turnover, still winning games. Pete Brown had a day, with 18 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. The scary part is, this man can average those types of numbers if we actually tried. Raza returned to form, as he scored 14 points on 7-13 and couldn’t forget about Mo Masri and his usual 3 3PM. Their latest addition seems to be another monster big, who could cause havoc for defenses and give them another post presence.

Week 2 2-0 4

No Raza in this one, but the Sabra vets know how to win. Another day in the office for Pete Brown and Mo Masri. Not sure if my eyes are playing games but it seems that the Sabra newcomer decided to take Weiss’ name for the day and honored the OG admirably, with 12 points and 4 boards. Vintage Weiss statline or whoever he is.

Week 1 1-0 4

The theme of the night was clearly 30 pieces and newcomer Ty Jackson wanted in on the fun. 37 points on 13-21 from the field with 10 rebounds is an extremely impressive debut, and most importantly they got the win. Don’t be fooled by the box score because this team has a multitude of scorers and as we’ve come to learn, next week can be anyone else’s turn.

Preseason 0-0 5

Weiss brings back the usual team, led by Raza, Pete Brown and Mo Masri. The addition of Ty Jackson seems to have the league questioning where Weiss continues to find these star-studded players. If there's anything we have learned over the years, is that Masta Weiss' led teams are always contenders.
