---|---|---|---|
Week 8 | 6-2 | 6 | The Yousuf brothers returned to form after a few down games and Affan had his breakout game. 21 points for the rookie on 8-13 from the field and he even outperformed big bro. Aadil did have a solid game himself and Shahzaib did what he did best and that was make tough shots when it mattered the most. Lahore is sneaky and should win a playoff game. |
Week 7 | 5-2 | 6 | After having “The Top Brother Duo” titled stripped from them like Reggie Bush's Heisman, Aadil and Affan rebounded quite nicely. The former led the way with 18 points and 5 rebounds while little bro scored 8 of his own. And how can we forget about Shah Khan? 18 points 5 rebounds and 3 assists for Mr. Bucket and the all-important W. |
Week 6 | 4-2 | 6 | A week after I called you guys two of the top 10 players in the league, this is how you return the favor? I guess my scouting career isn’t going to come to fruition anytime soon. Anyway, kudos to Jerusalem for neutralizing Lahore’s top guns and making it difficult all night for the young bunch. I still think very highly of this team but when Aadil and Shahzaib are having an off night, someone else needs to carry the load. |
Week 5 | 4-1 | 5 | HOT TAKE! Lahore has two top ten players in the league. Yes, Shahzaib and Aadil are two of the top 10 players in the league. Go cry about it, IDC! 22 points and 9 rebounds for the 18-year-old. On the season he is averaging 19 points on 62 percent from the field. And when Shahzaib isn't capturing our hearts on the basketball court, he is capturing some great photos, as seen on our Facebook and IG pages. |
Week 4 | 3-1 | 5 | So on the Pod, Mr. Bucket Khan was not in attendance and rumors has it, that he was in the gym preparing to light up Palermo. 24 points on 50% shooting, looks like it worked. The Yousuf brothers came back down to earth but still had respectable performances. They should win 3 out of their next 4 games and head into the playoffs with great seeding. |
Week 3 | 2-1 | 5 | Its official, the Yousuf brothers are the latest brother duo looking to take over MB. Aadil with a game high 25 points on very solid efficiency while adding 6 boards 3 assists and 4 steals. Looks like the odds-on favorite for player of the week. Can’t forget about little bro Affan with the 10 and 9. Wow, we didn’t even have to mention Shahzaib, who had an off night but don’t get use to that, folks. |
Week 2 | 1-1 | 6 | Mr. Bucket Khan is back at it again and boy oh boy does he look smooth. The Yousuf brothers are MB’s version of the Morris twins, without all the tats, violence and sharing of bank accounts. Aadil had 17, 6 and 3, while Affan added 15, 8 and 2. Oh and that Khan guy, 24 points on 44% from deep. Watch out for the young bulls because they are coming. |
Week 1 | 0-1 | 9 | What do you get when you team up a walking bucket with a super energetic hyper bunny? Shahzaib and Aadil, DUH. Aadil decided two is better than one and recruited his more talented younger brother, Affan, who did not disappoint. Lahore kept this game close and had the lead until Zain went to the FT line, but I think very few expected Lahore to keep this game close, let alone extend it into overtime. Warning to the league, do not let the 7-22 from Shahzaib fool you, because he will go 11-13 before you know it. I am a huge fan of Aadil’s game, and I think the sky is the limit for him. |
