New Jersey (North): Delhi (D2)

WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
---|---|---|---|
Week 8 | 2-6 | 10 | Another Delhi game without Luis and another tough loss. I love that this team never quits and is always competing but when one of your best players isn’t in attendance, you are only shooting yourself in the foot. |
Week 7 | 2-5 | 10 | For starters, I would like to welcome back Muhanad Deeb to the good graces of MB. Finally, 14, 8 and 7 is a monster stat line and one that resembles the version we are accustomed to. Ian Felix continues to show why he is one of the better guards in this league with a team high of 22 and Hamza Abdelghani “splashed” in 4 threes on his way to 14 points. If only this team had another guard who can’t seem to show up. |
Week 6 | 2-4 | 12 | Losers of three in a row after a promising start, but you can’t give up 42 points in the 2nd half. Especially after you went into halftime trailing by 1. Nice to see Luis back as him and Ian make for a lethal scoring tandem. I still want to see more of out of Splash and Muhanad. These low scoring outputs are not helping this team in any way whatsoever. |
Week 5 | 2-3 | 11 | Luis where art thou? At least they have Ian. They have now lost 3 of their last 4. Splash go back to making 3's man and Muhannad go back to averaging 12 and 12. |
Week 4 | 2-2 | 10 | Just when I began to compliment them and say this team has looked great, they let me down. Now, this is the 2nd straight game they were without L-Rod, but Ian and Splash should provide enough firepower. This should have been the Muhanad 20 and 10 game but I guess we’ll have to wait. |
Week 3 | 2-1 | 10 | Despite it being a friendly family reunion, the game did not come to the wire. Ian Felix who I am almost certain has no relation to the rest of the million Turmusayas on the court, had a game high 22. Splash had his best game of the season with an efficient 16 and they won the turnover battle, 5 to 12. This is the best this group has ever looked. |
Week 2 | 1-1 | 11 | The game was within reach, but their emotions got the best of them. Luis and Ian led the way with 13 and 18, respectively. No need for this group to be pressing and I know Splash and Muhanad Deeb have better games ahead of them. Next game against Jeddah is looking even more enticing now. |
Week 1 | 1-0 | 13 | Won by forfeit, thank you, you saved me a lot of time writing this. |
Preseason | 0-0 | 9 |
