Saturday marked 3 losses in a row (including a forfeit) but the tumble from a 3-0 start has been brutal. Islamabad missed the opportunity to earn a first-round bye, and they'll have a long road to the chip now. However, they still have a star player in Saad Q so they're never truly out of the championship picture.

Ouch. Losing to an 0-4 team hurts. Losing to an 0-4 team in OVERTIME, hurts even worse. We know these guys are good, and have some playoff pedigree from last year. We also knew, it would be a tough transition after losing one of their star players in Adam. But the time to adjust is quickly passing. One regular season week left, they’ll have to find ways to make up for the buckets and hustle they’ve lost. 

A forfeit loss is an unfortunate result for these guys this week, not enough players could attend. The loss of Adam is still a huge one, and now, they've lost their big-man Usman Shaw. Defense and rebounding are going to be key factors for them moving forward.

Islamabad was HOT today coming out the gates. They were lighting it up from 3 early, and as a result, they remain undefeated. This is Adam’s last week so it’ll be interesting to see how they make up for the lost 20+ ppg he provided. But for now, this team deservedly sits atop the standings, and the power rankings. 

Flashbacks of last season, as Islamabad takes a critical win over Al-Andalus this week. They found the weakness in the defense and attacked it to no end. Although this game went to OT, and they ended with only a 4-point lead. The final 10 minutes of this one were a snowball of momentum for Islamabad. Shout out to Adam Abdalla, the second player this season to score at least 30 points in one game.

Last seasons runner ups made a huge move in adding Adam to their team. Team looked a bit timid but overall they found scoring where they’r needed to and were able to pull off a really close victory. They take the 2 spot this week because they’re a proven roster with playoff pedigree.
