Were without Farhad and shot extremely poorly from deep and yet still lost by 7. Took the best team in the league to overtime and just came up short. Hassan was up to his usual tricks and Captain Ahmad Saleh had the touch from deep. This team needs more from Lil O as the 2nd round pick has not been playing up to his standard. Aadil needs to step up in big games as 7 and 8 isn’t enough. They’ll be fine moving forward; I am just a tough critic.

Week 5 4-1 2

Another blowout victory, and another impressive showing. They started off very slow in this one, but the fountain of youth that is this Jerusalem squad became clearly evident as the game went on into the second half. Jerusalem seems to be the only team besides Sana'a that matches up against any 5 put against them, and low and behold, they're at #2. In this most recent game, they've proven scoring is also a forte of theirs, and good golly miss molly Hassan Chaabane with the yet another 2K stat line: 34 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocks, and 74% from the field. He said, "not too fast on that MVP decision, let me get the mic." Now with his teammates lighting it up themselves, shooting a combined 50% from the field and 52% from 3, this team has made their case to be here at #2, and I will do no disservice. A tough match-up next week vs Sana'a, and I think Hassan and co. have their sights

Week 4 3-1 3

The team full of hyper bunnies, rugrats, teen titans or whatever else you want to call them continue to be pests on the defensive side of the ball. As a team they recorded 9 steals, 7 blocks and forced Dhaka to turnover the basketball 18 times, which resulted in a flurry of transition points. Hassan Chaabane continues his stellar 2K stat lines with 13 points 4 rebounds 6 assists 2 steals and 4 blocks (0_o). Ahmad and Lil O regained their touch from deep as they combined for 7 three pointers. They defend, rebound, and share the basketball. Having them at number 3 feels like I am doing them a disservice,

Week 3 2-1 3

No Farhad and yet they almost managed to steal this one. Hassan must be a huge NBA 2K“MyCareer” fan as he is putting up video game stat lines. 18 points 13 rebounds 2 assists 5 steals and 3 more blocks! You guys do know this man is 5’7 weighing a buck thirty soaking wet right? The young buck deserves all the praise in the world after a subpar rookie season, and not trying to take away anyone’s jobs (or volunteer work in this case) but he HAS to be mentioned in the MVP ladder. Anyway, back to the game. Aadil Yousef (who by the way is the youngest player in the league) had 18 and 9

Week 2 2-0 2

Hassan Chaabane, Player of the Week. I am telling you now. 15 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 steals and 5 blocks? I’ve heard of Wendy’s 4 for 4 but the young buck decided to serve Kashgar something a bit more filling. They forced 16 turnovers, outrebounded them by 15 and oddly enough looked like the more experience bunch. Lil O continues to develop in front of our very eyes as he knocked down 4 from deep, while locking down Kashgar’s guards. Aadil also added 21 points of his own for good measure. Only reason I can’t put them any higher is due to SOS thus far, but next should be

Week 1 1-0 3

Man was this team fun to watch. A collection of young bucks with an OG in Farhad and it was nothing short of beautiful basketball. Omar Abbassi no longer in the shadow of his brothers, cousins, uncles, and grandfathers, is certainly the “guy” on this team. Hassan did a great job orchestrating the offense and creating for others. This team is a contender.

Preseason 0-0 4

Farhad falling to number 4 is an absolute steal! Pair that with last season’s phenom in Aadil and you have a very formidable front court. I expect them to go with a 3-guard lineup of Ahmad Saleh, Little O and Hassan as they will provide play making and the ability to knock down shots from the perimeter. This should be a fun bunch to watch.
