PTOW? 31 points, 12 rebounds after missing the previous game with an injury. Nobody else was in double figures so perhaps this is the week that Zain gets his props. Quiet games from Amir and Splash, this team will need their sharp shooters to be ready Week 7 against the very talented Jerusalem squad. Winner takes sole possession of 2nd place.

Week 5 4-1 3

It's never an easy decision to move a team down after a loss in which their best player, and potentially the league's best shooter aren't present. Nonetheless, I presume they will be back, and things will work out just fine for this team. Amir C is proving he's still "that guy", and is really carving out a solid role on this team; he has become their #2. Salim also had a great game, dropping 13 points and 7 rebounds, a stat line that bodes very well for this team in the coming weeks. If he can keep that up, that's one more player defenses are really going to have to worry about. Samna did his thing grabbing 8 boards, and cleaning them up really well for a change haha. Seriously though, although they did lose, at the end of the day they were missing two key players, and that unluckily came on the worst week for that to happen. Though through that came opportunity, and boy was that opportun

Week 4 4-0 2

Mr. Double XL AKA Amir and Zain had their fingerprints all over this one. Amir led the way a game high 23 points and Zain added 16 points and 10 rebounds. Uncharacteristic games from Splash, Idris and Salim but Faris Farhan picked up the slack with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Arguably the team with the most depth and shooting in the league Week 5 will be the game of the season with Sana’a up next as this will dictate playoff seeding and perhaps even MVP.

Week 3 3-0 2

One of two remaining undefeateds after last night and man are they so well constructed. Zain and Idris had 22 and 20, respectively. Salim had 12, Splash had 11 and Samna made his layups. They shot 60% from the field as a team and 48% from 3. Not only are they taking good shots, but they are so patient and selfless with the basketball. Greg Popovich would shed tears of joy watching this team play basketball. I can’t wait for them to match up with Sana’a. Oh and Zain is the clear but #2 in MVP consideration.

Week 2 2-0 3

Islamabad – It wasn’t as pretty as their week 1 performance but nonetheless they still came out on top. Zain looks like in peak MVP form with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. Amir added 10 of his own and Splash did all the little things that is not going to show up in the box score. Don’t expect Idris and Splash to go 2-10 from 3 every week, because you’ll be down 18 before you know it. Next up is a week 3 dance with Kabul.

Week 1 1-0 2

I bet all you so called GM’s regret passing up on Ahmad “Splash” Abdelghani now. Well seems like he is doing just fine after raining in 21 points on 5-8 from deep. I don’t think he could have asked for a better fit playing alongside Zain and Amir, two players who can create for themselves and others and draw the attention of defenses. I am sure Zain also took this game quite serious after being passed up on by Mairaj. Oh, it's petty season baby.

Preseason 0-0 5

Zain and Idris are like PB&J, Zain being jelly since he’s more of the finesse player. Idris followed up that selection with Amir who is a walking bucket! This trio can outscore most teams and all are capable defenders. If Idris can turn Ahmad “Splash” Abdelghani into a willing role player, where he is relied on to just score and not be as ball dominant as needed in previous seasons, watch out!
