Just when you thought they got it together. They didn't. Major second half collapse, after a really strong start to the game. Last week they looked great, shooting with amazing efficiency, but this week, not so much. Tough loss, they really need a win next week, going into playoffs.
Week 3 1-2 2

Finally in the win column. 63 points today, great percentages all over, high efficiency (41% FG, 35% 3P, seriously impressive), and contributions all over the place. 5, I repeat 5 players scoring 10 or more points today. This is exactly what this team needed to propel themselves as the season hits the midway point. On paper this team is scary. A win next week against Al-Andalus, would shake things up in a massive way.
Week 2 0-2 3

Mecca falls to #3 this week, after another tough loss, this week to Medina. This team is built well, with shooters, combined with interior scorers, and some crafty veterans as well. But they struggled this week, against Medinas staunch defense who forced 17 turnovers. If this team plays to it’s strengths, it could climb the ranks quickly. But a little too much iso-ball in the second half really slowed them down. At full strength, I think this team gets things back on track and finds themselves in the win column
Week 1 0-1 2

Tough loss this week to #1 placed Al-Andalus, but missing 3 players definitely hindered their performance today. Down the stretch, it was clear they needed a little extra juice to finish the job. Behind leading scorer Waqas Ahmads 20 points, they put up an impressive 52 in week #1. They’ll benefit largely from a full team and some shooters who they were missing today.
