Week 9 4-5 11

Last time they went up again Granada, Musa Yanes had his kodack moment! I’m sure Granada has a different game plan going into this one. I hope to see this Palermo squad for season’s to come, they are a fun group to watch.

Week 8 4-4 10

Where’s Yanes?!?!?! Mazin needs his guy in order for this team to beat the top guns in this league. Tough loss to swallow, did not expect them to get blown out like that.

Week 7 4-3 10

NEVER COUNT OUT A MAIRAJ LED TEAM BABY! This team might be this year's “we believe Warriors”.

Week 6 3-3 11

Went into the half with a one-point lead in a game that would have been a huge statement win. Unfortunately, their top guns were neutralized but that allowed for their other guys to show what they are capable of. I think they could be a sleeper going into the playoffs. They have a date with Mombasa coming up, shock the world.

Week 5 3-2 11

If Musa ain’t cooking, Mazin will gladly start stirring it up. Young boy is averaging 18.3 on close to 45% from the field. On a night where batman didn’t have it going, Robin stepped up to the plate to deliver Gotham City a victory. (Y’all try writing these every week and not sound corny).

Week 4 2-2 11

Very close to being a 4-0 team. Shouldn’t have a problem this week. But those next two games, YIKES.

Week 3 2-1 5

Tough loss for the up and coming stars, and boy their schedule does not get any easier. Bukhara week 4, bye week (aka Delhi week 5) followed by Tripoli and Mombasa. Eat your Wheaties kids, y’all are going to need it. But until those games are played, they deserve to be in the top 5 as they have outplayed expectations.

Week 2 2-0 4

Not sure anyone saw this coming. Musa Yanes hit 9 3’s, the last being the go-ahead bucket! Mairaj has these young bucks outperforming expectations, or maybe this just what they expected out of themselves.

Week 1 1-0 8

Mairaj might be MB’s version of Danny Ainge. Wins 3 in a row with Dhaka, leaves a group of vets and assembles a squad of young bucks. Mazin and Musa a great forward combination. Not sure if they have all the chips to be contenders but interested in seeing if any of their guards can develop into a scorer before season’s end.
