Week 9 6-3 8

Two really bad losses down the stretch, that obviously played a huge role in their standings. First round matchup against a monster of a Jakarta squad. Not sure they have the personnel to defend Ed’s anointed “2020 champs” team.

Week 8 6-2 6

Probably the most overlooked team in the league. I have a feeling we’re going to see them in the title game.

Week 7 5-2 7

After being upset in week 6, you’d expect Mingo and friends to come out with a sense of urgency, right? Wrong, well at least not in the first half.

Week 6 4-2 9

Oof, tough loss, and it may have jeopardized their chances at a number 1 seed. Luckily for them, their next 3 opponents have 2 wins between them.

Week 5 4-1 4

No Mingo no problem. Remember when Nick was struggling? That seems like forever ago. He’s put together back-to-back 20-point games. Beirut has a great chance of finishing the season 8-1 and perhaps atop of the standings.

Week 4 3-1 6

Hello there Nick Marquez. Blew a huge second half lead, cant do that against most teams in this league. Tehran is an aggressive defensive team. Can Mingo and the boys improve to 4-1?

Week 3 2-1 6

This game was a game Beirut was built to win. Low scoring game, tight down the stretch, ball in Mingo’s hands. 9 times out of 10, that scenario works in Beirut’s favor. Week 3 was an anomaly. Nicky Marquez, keep shooting. Only as good as your next shot.

Week 2 2-0 2

They have beaten two competitive ball clubs. 4 of their 5 starters scored double figures and they forced 12 TO’s as a team.

Week 1 1-0 5

Mingo’s last-minute addition of Mark served to be the difference in this ball game. 11 points and big defensive plays down the stretch gave this team a lot of momentum when they were down going into the half. Kenny Jenkins can ball folks! 15 points 6 rebounds 5 steals and 1 block are stats reminiscent of Shawn “Matrix” Marion. Nick had a very uncharacteristic game but I’m sure he’ll take the win. Mingo and the boys are 1-0.
