Week 10 8-2 1

Big win against a top playoff team in Granada. This was a statement win, proving they are the team to beat going into the playoffs. Mo stepped up big in this one, hitting 7-13 from behind the arc. Pete with a pedestrian 24 and 15. They will be on their couches week 1 of the playoffs, as they enjoy the #1 seed.

Week 9 7-2 1

New number one! Not only did they demolish Riyadh, But Pete and either Raza or Mo had more points than the entire Riyadh team. Just two players. Going into the last week of the regular season, I think the true best team in the league is finally in the spot they deserved for a long time.

Week 8 6-2 2

In a game with no Pete Brown, Raza absolutely dominated. He scored 27 points on an efficient 11-18 shooting, also adding 4 boards, 1 assist, and 4 steals. I am not sure if there is a team that can stop Mombasa if they have their full roster.  Similar to Sarajevo, they essentially have a bye week this Saturday.

Week 7 5-2 3

There was no chance Mombasa was going to lose this game. Raza was on fire dropping 24 on 9-12 shooting, and Pete and Elias dominated scoring and the glass. They essentially have bye weeks until the last game of the season. I predict a stat padding game for Mombasa next time they’re on the court.

Week 6 4-2 5

I say it every week about a team, if your players don’t show up, you won’t win games. In this case, their main guy Pete and their floor general Raza both were not present. Outcome? They lost. The fact remains that if Mombasa has a full roster, I do not think there is a team that can take them down this year.

Week 5 4-1 1

New team on top! No Pete Brown. No Raza. They still came out and got the W against a competitive Medina squad. I still stand by my statement. Without Pete Brown, this team is still great, but they are beatable. With Pete Brown, they are very close to being unstoppable.

Week 4 3-1 2

Pete Brown ladies and gentlemen. As long as Pete shows up, this team will be very hard to beat. 23 and 17 without an ounce of effort.

Week 3 2-1 3

The matchup against Tripoli would normally be one we look forward to, but Tripoli did not have Muj, and more importantly, they played with 4 guys for 30 of the 40 mins. That isn’t Mombasa’s fault, and they took advantage of the situation. Pete was Pete. Raza was Raza. Sadat didn’t just pass this game, he got in on the scoring as well.

Week 2 1-1 4

Pete Brown is back, and Mombasa is back to the scary team nobody wants to play. Zach, Pete, Raza, and Sadat all had great games. Mo can still shoot lights out, although he didn’t this game. Next week they play Tripoli. Pete vs. Jean and Raza vs. Muj should be exciting to watch.

Week 1 0-1 9

No Pete Brown, no win. Even without Pete, this was a game they should be able to win. Hopefully Mombasa isn’t on the path they ended on last season.

Preseason 0-0 2

The return of the infamous Pete Brown! Mombasa had a pretty disappointing year last season, but with the addition of Mr. Brown, they look to become a top tier team once again.
