Week 10 6-4 11

This game proved that Granada could go toe to toe with any team this season. Yes, they lost, but they were within grasp of arguably the best team in the league. Jon was spectacular, but he couldn’t get much from his counter-part, Anas. They play Cairo first round as they look to avoid an upset.

Week 9 6-3 8

Similar to other teams this season, when this full team shows up, they are really good. They proved that by taking down Bukhara, another one of the top teams in the league.

Week 8 5-3 12

Just like many other teams, they need their big players in big games. Jon DeJesus is definitely one of those players, but so is Anas Najib. This team will only go as far as they both take them, but they have to both be there. Jordan and Omar also both play a significant role. With all 4 of them present, they can go toe to toe with anyone. I know I say that about a lot of teams, but I am hoping in the playoffs everybody from every team is present. This should be really exciting to see.

Week 7 5-2 8

Granada now has 2 forfeit wins this season. I cannot stress enough how important it is to show up. We all paid the same amount of money. We all want to play. It is unfair to Granada that they are stripped from that opportunity TWICE on a season that already has a lot of gaps in the schedule.

Week 6 4-2 8

What happened here? Any given Saturday! Not only did Granada lose to a poorly ranked Lagos squad, they lost by 31. Yikes. I know Jon and Jordan weren’t there, but Anas Najib is a good enough player to lead his team to a win here, or at least not lose by 31.

Week 5 4-1 4

Took down the previous number 1 ranked squad with a game winner from Jordan Van Eps. Super exciting game all around. Anas, Jon, and Jordan all did what they are there to do. We finally got a sneak peek of what this team is capable of doing. I knew once they all showed up they would get it together.

Week 4 3-1 8

No game. No movement. Free win.

Week 3 2-1 8

When Anas, Jon, and JVS are all present, Granada will be great. They have yet to have that. Anas is one of the best finishers at the rim, and he proved it this game. As stated previously, he needs to be considered in the MVP race.

Week 2 1-1 9

Surprising loss to Medina. Jon and Anas did exactly what we expected them to do together, but they got absolutely ZERO help from the supporting cast. The other 6 players shot a total of 4-21 from the field, and 1-11 from 3. When all the attention is on two guys, I can only assume they are going to receive some open looks. They gotta knock more down.

Week 1 1-0 3

They beat the defending champs without their best player. Need I say more? Anas Najib is letting people know why he should’ve been in the MVP race last season. When Mr. DeJesus plays, this might give other teams a run for that top spot.

Preseason 0-0 9

Jon DeJesus is back, and teaming up with Anas Najib is an awesome 1-2 punch. A couple of new guys with height, and some role players, and this team can absolutely make some noise.
