Week 10 4-6 20

Forfeit win for Medina this week. They can look at it as a bye week to get ready to play Bukhara. Matt and Big O will be a handful. Medina has to try and control the rebounding to have a chance at upsetting Bukhara.

Week 9 3-6 20

Medina was outplayed in nearly every aspect of the game. They lost the rebound, assist, steal, and most importantly, the point battle. Jawad tried to do things on his own, but unfortunately came up short. Very short. 29 points short.

Week 8 3-5 20

As we all know, Medina has Mohamed who is 6’47528” tall. I am not sure who was guarding this man, or who was boxing him out, but the fact that he ended with only 5 rebounds is very disappointing. Jawad is a great scorer, but the team has to get Mohamed more looks. He cannot end the game with only 6 shot attempts. Ahmed, Mohammad, and Ibrahim shot a combined 2-22 from the floor. That isn’t going to get it done. Imagine if Bukhara was actually hitting their shots, this could’ve been a 30 point loss instead of a 14 point loss very easily.

Week 7 3-4 19

Forfeited the game without even giving notice to the other team.

Week 6 3-3 17

Although he only took 10 shots, Jawad had a super-efficient day, shooting 7-10 from the field and a perfect 5-5 from behind the arc. For a team that shoots the 3 ball well, it is surprising that they take so little, but they did what they had to do to get the W.

Week 5 2-3 17

Mohamed almost had more rebounds than the entire Mombasa team, and they still lost. They played Mombasa without their two best players. This was their shot to steal one from one of the best teams in MB. Unfortunately, even with Jawad dropping 32, they couldn’t steal it.

Week 4 2-2 17

By now, everybody knows who Mohamed Bendary is. Even scoring 22 points on 11-13 shooting and grabbing 15 boards, Medina still couldn’t close out against Lahore. Mohamed’s normal partner in crime, Jawad, just wasn’t able to knock it down from 3 shooting 2-12 from behind the arc.

Week 3 2-1 10

Would’ve liked to see them beat a low ranked Kashgar team by a little more than 8, but a win is a win. Did I mention they have a 6’8” guy? He doesn’t list it and he puts that he is a PF, but believe me, we see you.

Week 2 1-1 11

It is rare you see a team take 57 shots and only 9 3s nowadays, especially when they’re shooting it well. This team is very good, and another underrated squad. They play together like they’ve been playing together for years. Look for them to creep up the rankings as the season goes on.

Week 1 0-1 15

Medina shot very well from both inside the arc and out, but still came up short. All around, I definitely see this team being a strong competitor this season. Not many teams have a legit “big” on their roster that can score and play defense. Medina does.

Preseason 0-0 21

Not the same Medina. Jawad is solid. Who will lead this team?
