WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
---|---|---|---|
Week 9 | 7-2 | 10 | Extremely impressed with this team. They’re probably the only team to have not lost a game badly. 11 point loss to Kazan is very respectable, and 2 point loss to Kabul also nothing to be ashamed of. They haven’t necessarily beaten bad teams badly, but they did pounce on Istanbul last week. Amir has really been terrific all season long and is very responsible for how well his team has been playing. |
Week 6 | 5-1 | 6 | This team is quietly flying under the radar. They’re only loss came against a full Kabul team and that was a close game. Amir is Most Improved Player in my book. |
Week 5 | 4-1 | 9 | They turned those close game loses from last season into wins this season. They’ve been in every game and have looked good all season long. Amir is clearly the guy, but the rest of the team finds ways to contribute and get wins. This week against Lahore should really give us an idea of how good they really are. |
Week 4 | 3-1 | 15 | These dudes learned how to win, that’s one more team that nobody should look at and scoff. Amir is no joke and Tim has been great in his first season. |
Week 3 | 2-1 | 16 | Stole this one from a better Beirut team. Caught them napping. Amir’s a solid scorer, they get point here and there all around. Don’t sleep on this group. |
Week 2 | 1-1 | 18 | They are really so impressive in how they keep games close and give themselves chances to win. Unfortunately, last season it didn’t translate to any wins. This season, they already have one under their belt and they took a top team to the brink, just couldn’t take the win. Amir has shown us that he’s one of the best scorers in the league. Also, new comer Tim Brown has been solid thus far. If they can just string together a couple wins, that would be momentum creating. |
