New Jersey (North): Timbuktu (D2)
Power Ranking By Week | |||
WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
---|---|---|---|
Week 9 | 2-7 | 18 | Islamabad needed this one and played like it. |
Week 8 | 2-6 | 18 | Nothing pains me more than seeing a team lose to four guys. |
Week 7 | 2-5 | 17 | Made Dhaka work a little harder than they should’ve in the second half, but couldn’t get enough going to make them sweat. |
Week 6 | 2-4 | 16 | Good first half effort, couldn't sustain it though. |
Week 5 | 2-3 | 16 | Good fight, not enough against a very solid defensive team. |
Week 4 | 2-2 | 15 | After a solid debut from Layth, he struggled in back to back game. He had his best performance of the season so far, dropping 20 on uncharacteristically efficient shooting. Raied made a big time defensive strip late in the game, Khaild owned the boards, and Timbuktu flashed some potential. I don’t expect them to win a handful of games, but they should be competitive all around. |
Week 3 | 1-2 | 16 | Really, you only scored 29 against Ed? How you score 29 playing 5 vs 4? |
Week 2 | 1-1 | 15 | Need to play with some more efficiency, but Khalied, Layth, and Raied can all score the ball. They have some promise. |
Week 1 | 1-0 | 13 | Comeback from double digits down, not against the greatest completion though. Layth is a pretty solid player and Raied can also be very effective. He seemed to be laboring a bit with a hurt wrist, at 100% he could get Timbuktu a handful of wins. |
