WEEK RECORD RANK COMMENTS
Week 4 2-2 8

Wild finish in their game this week winning in Overtime. Ramzy Saleh and Moayad Abul-huda came up big for this team when it mattered most. This was a great final challenge they needed to mentally prepare them for the playoffs. Next week they take on Cordoba in a rematch of their Week 1 loss, I’m sure they’ll be much better prepared this time around with a full squad present.

Week 3 1-2 11

Fought really hard to take over this game but in the end Beirut’s offense made too many big shots down the stretch. Their second loss of the season but both losses came to top tier teams and were both decided in the final minutes of the game. Omar Qasem with another good all around game finishing with 15-8-6 but this team needs to find a way to close against these top tier teams if they want to make a deep playoff run. Next week they take on a Delhi squad whose offense has been soaring as of late, they have to find a way to slow them down to take that game.

Week 2 1-1 8

Great bounce back win, took control of this game early and never looked back. Great game for Hosam Karkis leading the way with 21&8. This was a win they needed to gain some confidence heading into a matchup with the defending champs next week. This matchup could possibly be their biggest challenge of the season; a win there would be huge.

Week 1 0-1 13

Tough Loss for this young squad, didn’t have any subs playing this week but still managed to keep up with Cordoba offensively in a gritty game led by Omar Qasem’s 23-6-6. A more favorable matchup awaits them in week 2 where they hope to bounce back against another 0-1 squad.

Preseason 0-0 11

The youngest team in the league this season. Can potentially become a threat as the season goes along but the overall inexperience of the team in this league has them ranked this low. Omar Qasem has a really high upside and can use his experience to help this team come together. Young talent can be great, but can they put it all together and make the right plays when it matters the most? We’ll have to wait and see.
