They claim the #1 spot, but the forfeit win is unfortunate considering they have a bye week too.  That means 2 weeks without playing a real game.  They will face off against the winner of Cordoba/Sana'a.
Week 8 6-2 1

Their win over Mombasa shouldn't surprise anyone as this team has been on a mission the last several weeks.  They have continuously pounced on their opponents right after the tip-off and have played with great energy.
Week 7 5-2 3

Avenging last season's playoff loss, Beirut has now reeled off 4 in a row.  Mombasa needs to watch out next week, or else we might see a shakeup at the top of the Power Rankings.
Week 6 4-2 3

After a rough start to the season, they have righted the ship.  More guys are getting involved offensively and they continue their upward climb in the rankings.
Week 5 3-2 6

Nick Marquez has taken a big leap from last season and is now tied for being the second-best second option in the division with 12.2 ppg.  That has been instrumental in this team's success this season.

They have won big twice and lost big twice.  Next week should be a much closer battle versus Istanbul.
