LAST WK: 2

It wasn't all too convincing, but, they got the job done. It took a buzzer-beater to make it happen this week, but the result is a W in the end, and 2-0 looks good. This team does a great job of instilling confidence in their teammates throughout the game. They were down by 10+ with less than 10 minutes to go, but, they rallied and brought home a big win, the future is bright for Damascus.

LAST WK: 1

.4 seconds. I could really leave it at that but, Islamabad deserves more. Coming off the dismantling of Al-Andalus in week #1, they looked great throughout the game, even missing their PG Saad Q. Every person on the team stepped up in a big way and made a more significant impact than they had in prior weeks. 3-20 from 3 killed them, almost as much as those missed free throws late game did. But, there's not much to worry about here, this team could easily find itself sitting atop the league by the end of the season

Missing their PG last week really hurt Delhi, Ayan Khan is the key to opening this team's offense up, and it showed this week with Delhi scoring 69 points. They shot well from 3, and shot well from the free throw line, one thing is for sure, you can't let these guys shoot. Looks like the weakness could be rebounding for these guys but, they were able to find it from different sources this week, we'll see how they can compete on the boards moving forward.

Mecca was missing their captain Anwar A. big time this week. There were times when things looked promising. Wasay R's 5-10 threes kept them alive for a good while in this one, but, it just wasn't enough. Every hook they threw was counted by a straight to the face by Delhi. Waqas A. put up an impressive double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. With the addition of their captain, I think they'll be just fine

38 points for Zay Jennings in his MB debut basically tells the story of the whole game. Gotta give some respect where it's due, they pulled off a hard-fought victory with only 5 guys. The issue this team will face moving forward is the one-sidedness, we need to see them get it from other places, or this team will be dealing with double and triple teams. We'll be watching to see how far they can ride this wave, but, for now, it worked.

Al-Andalus

LAST WK: 5

The only winless team in the league. There's really no excuse this week, turnovers gutted this team, every time they got a sliver of momentum. They actually shot well from the field and from 3, but, when you give the opposing team 23 extra possessions, there's simply no way you can overcome. Similar issues from week 1 carried over to this week for them. Its going to be a long climb if they want to see themselves anywhere near the top of the power rankings or standings. But one things for sure, it has not looked good for Al-Andalus so far.
