Number 1 seed, still undefeated. I think there has been a change in the frontunner for MVP. Not sure how you can argue against Hassan Chaabane at this point. 23 points, 10 rebounds 6 assists and 3 steals! Idris knocked down 4 from trifecta and s/o to Jared See who played the role of Zain and honestly looked like prime Zain out there. 13 points 15 rebounds 2 assists 7 steals and 5 blocks???? Ummm Islamabad has two prime candidates for POTW. Glad I am not responsible for making those decisions. |

Mama there goes that Man! Mo Masri does it again folks! He torched Granada on 66% shooting from the field and hitting 8 three pointers. Not sure what the most three’s in a season is, but perhaps our friends over at the podcast can do some research and figure that out. Back to Mombasa. Pete Brown with 16 and 15, Raza balled out with 19 and Elias had 11 of his own. Sadat may have the easiest job on the planet with the abundance of options he has as the floor general. |

Wajdi is ROTY! Moose is the engine of this team and Jay Wiggins is that freak athlete that puts on at least one highlight reel play every game. They made Kabul work for every basket and locked down defensively. Their size, athleticism and scoring is going to carry them come playoff time and I wont be surprised to see them play for the chip. |

If you have been tuning in to the MB Podcast, you know that this game was discussed last week and was highly anticipated. I don’t think the Abbassi’s were fans of being dropped to the 2nd best brother duo in the league and boy did they take that personally. Billal “Biggz” showed up and showed out with a season high 26 points, Omar Mana had a monster double-double with 11 and 22. And how can we forget about Lil O, who despite not connecting from 3, still scored 17 points on close to 50% shooting. The top 4 teams at this point are interchangeable, and unfortunately, they get the short end of the stick this week. |

When you have three guys that can go off for 20 any given night, chances are you are going to win a majority of your games. Ali, Sal and Yo shah combined for 47 out of the teams 63 total points and the chemistry between the three is tough to match. Nesto with a very underrated 7, 8 and 5 stat line as he has given this time an extra big body that can score. This team has the pieces but where they finish in the standings is going to be their biggest challenge. |

A week after I called you guys two of the top 10 players in the league, this is how you return the favor? I guess my scouting career isn’t going to come to fruition anytime soon. Anyway, kudos to Jerusalem for neutralizing Lahore’s top guns and making it difficult all night for the young bunch. I still think very highly of this team but when Aadil and Shahzaib are having an off night, someone else needs to carry the load. |

I know they lost but MJ may be the most consistent and efficient scorer in the league. Close to 20ppg on 62 percent shooting from the field, and dude balls in sweatpants and Timberland! Okay, maybe not in Timberlands, but if dude pulled up in shorts, that would be a major problem. Mecca has had a very difficult 4 game stretch and I think their next two games are very winnable. |

1) Now this is the team Towfeek dreams of before he goes to sleep in his Jets onesie. Shafic had 23, JoJo with 20 and s/o to Amir Hassan with 24 points 5 rebounds and 6 assists. He has shown flashes of games like this in the past, but his biggest problem has always been consistency. Perhaps last night’s performance speeds up their coach’s rehab process. |

Their big 3 did their job but Alexandria was just the better team. Farhad with another double-double proving once again that age is simply just a number. Tom and Chris led the way with 17 apiece. Schedule makers were not kind to this team, as they finish the season with the top two teams in the league. |

You wanna know why they won this game? Because they had someone other than Ed and Kenny taking 10 plus shots. Great game by Zeeshan and now Medina has perhaps a solid third option on offense. And early bday s/o to our commish who turns 44 in a couple of days. |

Well, well, well, seems like the rugrats are starting to win basketball games. Mohamed Gaballa led the way with 17, on 66% shooting and got solid contributions from everyone on the roster. This team isn’t going to outscore many teams, but they won’t let you outhustle them. |

Losers of three in a row after a promising start, but you can’t give up 42 points in the 2nd half. Especially after you went into halftime trailing by 1. Nice to see Luis back as him and Ian make for a lethal scoring tandem. I still want to see more of out of Splash and Muhanad. These low scoring outputs are not helping this team in any way whatsoever. |

How do you guys lose to a bunch of 40-year-olds? S/o to Nader though for being this team’s best player and probably league’s most improved player of the season. |

After winning a nail bitter last week, they lost to a team they should have easily defeated. Key to stopping Damascus, stop the O’s and you win. |

As their leading scorer mentioned so eloquently, “They would be 4-2-1 if games ended by half-time”. That’s all you need to know when it comes to this team. |

I can’t imagine they had these low of expectations when the season started but here, we are. Cancun on me, Cancun on 3. 1,2,3 Cancun! |
