Holding onto the number one spot like it’s their job. They beat a very good defensive ball club and beat them good. Held them to 34% as a team and outrebounded them by 10. Only made four out of their twenty, three-point attempts but when you wouldn’t be able to tell from the looks of the final core. They have depth and championship experience. Only remaining difficult game would be Granada, so won’t be surprised if they finish the season 8-1 or 7-2. |

Really thought long and hard about placing them at number one, but I’m sure being number one in the standings outweighs number one in the power rankings. If I had a pick for MVP 6 games through the season, my pick would be Muj. 18.3 ppg, close to 7 rebounds and 5 assists, not to mention he is 45% from the field and 39% from 3. Might not put up the 30 and 40-point games like some of his counterparts but the man is efficient. Jean machine with a double-dip, Yo-Shah adding 13 and Salmon hitting 4-8 from the great beyond. Tripoli looks unbeatable. |

Lahore is a team made for track meets. Moayad and Shafic live in transition, Ahmad hitting 3 out 4 from trifecta and Mana adding 16 points to go alongside 10 boards is icing on the cake. What worries me is defensively they can’t stop a nose bleed, but I guess they’ll just rely on outscoring their opponents. |

MB’s version of the Patriots are clicking. They have so many weapons offensively it’s almost an embarrassment of riches. Most under the radar player in this league is Elias. 15 ppg close to 49% from the field and nearly 45% from 3 and yet no one brings up his name. Just imagine how scary they will be, once Masri gets going. #Weisswants8 |

Big win against a very good Granada team. Jordan McCain with a game high 25 points and 11 rebounds. The almost gave up their huge lead, but ran away with it towards the end. Mustafa and Afay need to show up to the party if this team wants to have any playoff success. |

Ed may have found the “secret stuff” from SpaceJam because dude has been cooking at age 54. Has there been a more motivated player than the commish this season? Jakarta has been playing well when they have a full squad after losing 2 of their first 3. It will be fun to watch them go toe-toe against Bukhara, in what should be a good one. |

Best stat of the night, they held Delhi to 9 total FGs. And although they got outrebounded 35 to 23, that did not hurt them because of the pressure they kept on Delhi’s guards. Jawad woke up with a season high 17 and 4 3pointers made. Zubi’s added 23 with Biggz putting 10, 5 and 5. Backend of the schedule looks easy on paper but not one they should take lightly. Fun fact: The Zubi’s are 1 for their last 14 from 3. Perhaps they lost their touch. |

Emotions got the best of them in a game that they rallying back in. These next 3 games could have a major imprint on playoff seeding and whether or not they make a run towards the chip. |

Oof, tough loss, and it may have jeopardized their chances at a number 1 seed. Luckily for them, their next 3 opponents have 2 wins between them. |

Easy schedule coming up so no need to worry. They went up against a great Mombasa team that knows their weaknesses and exploited them. Not worried about this group, they’ll get it together starting this week against Mecca. |

Went into the half with a one-point lead in a game that would have been a huge statement win. Unfortunately, their top guns were neutralized but that allowed for their other guys to show what they are capable of. I think they could be a sleeper going into the playoffs. They have a date with Mombasa coming up, shock the world. |

They were down some notable players but I still don’t think it would have made a difference. Ali and Yaqob have been doing their thing and the team will need that and much more if they want to compete with their difficult 3 game schedule coming. |

RIYADH WITH THE HUGE UPSET! Omar Hussein has been BALLIN’! 29 points, 6 of 12 from 3. They held Beirut to 3-23 from the great beyond forced 14 turnovers. Not sure which version of this team we will get, week in and week out. But for now, enjoy the win. |

Won by 20 but went 3-25 from 3. Would it hurt to take a step in?!?!??!? |

Never a good time to endure a 4-game losing streak, and quite frankly I don’t see it coming to an end. They may have had the most difficult schedule in recent memory. |

Imma start calling them Deli since teams start getting on a “roll” when they go up against them. |

I thought they were on the come up and then they get spanked by 20. |
