Alot of other leagues pick there team names like primetime or whatever i was told we cant use nba names for legal reasons so at the very least you should be able to pick what city you want to represent like narurally a team full of egyptians might want the name cairo and if a team wins a chip such as fez last year they should come back with the same name especially since the team is exactly the same i believe kashgar and medina were the only teams to do so idk if a yone cares abour this topic lol but if you do give me some input

good suggestion on trying to keep the same team names from season-to-season. some teams (like Kashgar) are good at that, while others not so much, possibly due to so much turnover on the roster each season.
as far as the personalized team names - the reason we don't do that is because there are always immature team names that pop up. Also, we like to have logos for each team, although they're just the arabic scripts of the team names.

I dont think its a matter of teams being good at it or not, its just a matter of reserving it for returning captains. We were Mecca last year, and I wanted to retain Mecca - but for the Winter when I got to registering Mecca was already taken.
This will continue to happen unless the registration process is somehow altered - maybe gving preference to returning captains before going to a first come first serve basis. There's a lot of factors and its not very easy to do. |

There's a lot of factors and its not very easy to do. oh when i said medina i thought you guys had the same name but yeah it was mecca i got the 2 confused i guess since the prophet mohamed went from mecca to medina but anyway my point is you can allow teams to make names but with guidelines or like i said let them pick which city for example your team is all abassis you might have wanted cairo or some egyptian city but if we keep the same teams lets keep the same teams names for each division and maybe send in email prior to registration reminding captains and im sure captains will jump on it especially if you win a title and we can keep track of what teams have the most chips like the nba

like you said kashgar makes sure they register early enough to get it kabul won the chip and afay said he wanted to get kabul back but someone already took it he shouldve been given preference especially since hes a veteran star of the league mvp and champ.

Naim got him there. i was expecting him to put on a show and drop 40 but he did a good job getting the team involved and was carefull not to dominate the game didnt really look for his shot and big up chris from kabul for not getting intimidated and playin good D and made rauf have to guard him as well
