D1 Mombasa vs Delhi Neither team has a great height advantage. Delhi's array of shooting guards better find a way to stop Ahmad Hassan. Cairo vs BukharaCairo has some secret studs on their team but I don't know about their reliability. Sharief's not trying to be a bottom of the standings team anymore. Greg, Sean, and company will do some work this season. Medina vs FezMedina has the size factor but Fez has chemistry. And chemistry always wins! Mecca vs KabulAbbassi's vs Afghani's. Defending champs will take this one easily. Kashgar vs Sarajevo This will be one exciting game. Lots of talent on both sides. Palermo vs CordobaI'm going with the team I know nothing about! D2 Tripoli vs DamascusI have a feeling that Damascus will take this in a nail biter. Yamin and Adham will have to do a lot of scoring thou. Tripoli seems to have a solid defense, but Yamin and Adham can open the floor a bit. Islamabad vs Timbuktu Two of central jersey's finest. Islamabad has a bit of a height advantage and I think that will give them the W. Baghdad vs Dhaka Baghdad is way taller than Dhaka but Faizan won't be stopped. This will be a close game. Jakarta vs LagosLagos has some shooters and building on some chemistry. Jakarta's a young and energetic team. Istanbul vs Sana’a Ali Alsaidi has been waiting for this day his whole life. He will go off for 30+. Joe Brennan should be grabbing all the boards. Sana'a can take this game if they shut down Ali. Jerusalem vs Kazan Andre/Victor vs Anthony. D1 teammates. D2 enemies! D1 Mombasa vs Delhi Mombasa is well-balanced and Delhi has 3 guys who play the same position with no chemistry (yet). Hard to see Mombasa losing this.
Cairo vs Bukhara Cairo got some size, but Bukhara has Greg K. Greg K > Chuck Norris.
Medina vs Fez Medina, another well-balanced squad with international superstar Almin Joy. RIP Fez.
Mecca vs Kabul Mecca will fight and scrap their way to a close game in the closing minutes. But AFAY's wisdom and Farhad's charming good looks will ensure victory for the horde.
Kashgar vs Sarajevo To all the critics, no team in league history has more chemistry than Kashgar. They will play SSOL style and make you reach for your inhaler.
Palermo vs Cordoba Khalied Saleh, MVP candidate will put up huge numbers again (as long as his teammates pass it to him). |
