Week 3 Predictions:

Al-Bireh vs Al-Khalil
In the first game of week 3 we have two teams with the same record duking it out. The book is still out on Al-Khalil. As a team new to MB it seems like the league and myself are still trying to get a good hold on this team. They did miss their leading scorer Duff in their only loss of the season so lets see what they can do with a full squad. Al-Bireh on the other hand is a bunch of dudes familiar to the league. Rameez AKA Bully Meez has been on a Major heater this year, shooting 60 percent from the field and 50% from three, we’ll see if he can keep that going this week. Defensively Al-Bireh has Omar H as there anchor pulling down everything. We all know the board man gets paid.
Al-Bireh 67 Al Khalil 59.

Yaffa vs Gaza
Much like Al-Khalil, Yaffa is a team with many new faces. These brothers almost pulled out the dub last week and are looking for their first win of the season vs Gaza. What I think this team needs most is some scoring juice. They are currently ranked last in the league in scoring and need someone to step up alongside Robert G whos averaging 16. I’m looking for more out of Adrian and Reinel and need Reinel to utilize his size more. In terms of Gaza this is a team with title aspirations. They have all the pieces. Chardley, Gio, and Paul make for a scary trio and thats not where this team ends. They are deep but need everyone to step up defensively if they want to make a far run. They do have the commissioner on the team so we know the ref gonna be with them.
Yaffa 54 Gaza 64

Bethlehem vs Jerusalem
This is the game of the week. Two title contenders meeting early in the season. Bethlehem had a good offseason replacing smitty with Amr. Bethlehem is a team full of hoopers that are just gonna find a way to get it done. They play hard, they play with chemistry, they can play fast or slow, slice you up with passing or ISO you to death. A bunch of high IQ guys that know how to win. This team is my early pick to win it all with Ouday and Amr leading the charge. Jerusalem is also an extremely well rounded team filled with a bunch of dudes who play the right way. Ahmet has been doing his thing as always but I want to see a little more from Avery because we all know what he’s capable of. With those two driving and Shahaab spacing the floor its gonna be tough to stop this team.
Bethlehem 69 Jerusalem 65
